A couple of months ago, I would have rated Longview schlotskys 5 star. Since then, every-time I’ve bought a sandwich, the quality has gone down. Today I got a sandwich, took forever in drive through line (1:40 pm) The teenage boy at drive through was flat. No welcome or thank you. Training on customer service is definitely needed! AND my sandwich was flat cold. What’s happening with this location??? Gilmer Schlotskys is so much better!!!
Onion fumes drove me and my family outside to eat on the tailgate. Expensive and slow. Sorry but this place needs some management. Expensive, quicker and pleasant would have been fine but the fumes weren’t ok.
Before it burned down, it was almost always superb. Afterwards, I tried it right after it opened. Order was wrong and the bread was nearly burnt. I tried again today, thinking and hoping it would be better. It was wrong, super dry and took 15 minutes for two sandwiches and I had to go back because I was not given the chips or cookies I paid for. Save the disappointment and go to Kilgore or Gilmer. Never had an issue there.
Whenever the order is right it’s good. It would be nice to actually receive the sandwich I ordered for once, though.
This place was shut down forever it felt like.Back open and on and poppin.I rarely drive thru, the staff inside is always nice.It’s not like “fast food”, so if you have time to pop in the cafe’ then you should.Mobile order is a game changer, for sure.
Disappointed they no longer serve the Pastrami and Swiss o Rye. That was the best sandwich on the menu.

(For around 30 people)Food is prepared after ordered, ultra-fresh, hand carried out by the cooks.Quick service, Fast enough for a 1 hour lunch break, maybe not if you are in a big hurry.

I eat here multiple times a week because I love the food but I am SO tired of having my sandwich made wrong every single time! I always order the exact same thing and every single time it is wrong. It is NO chipotle sauce..ADD mustard lettuce onion and tomato. Every time it is made with the chipotle and no veggies!! The receipt is correct and order wrong. This evening I went back inside to have my order corrected and instead of fixing it they handed me a box of veggies so I could go make it myself. Why am I paying $20 for sandwiches AND making them myself?? I REALLY hope they can get it together because the food is soooo good.. the service needs WORK though
I was shocked that I had to purchase a bottle of their original sauce, as I was informed after I received my order, that they no longer carry their own sauce in the packets to go.
