Susannah (my server) was amazing. The steak was cooked perfect, and my moscow mule was the best id ever had!

We were there on 5/9 to celebrate Mother's Day. We had a party of 8 with 2 babies. Our wait time was around 30 minutes. My reason for this post is our waiter Karson. He was awesome. He was very accommodating and friendly. Every interaction with him was superb. Fast, Funny and Great at His Job. Kudos to Karson. Job well done. So often people are quick to post when staff or service is bad. This isn't that. Our food was good but the highlight was definitely Karson. Continue to give the good customer service that you do. It is/was appreciated

My wife had her favorite T-bone steak.I had a steak salad.Both were well prepared.Good table service.We were seated quickly and at a good location with easy access for my wife's rollator walker.Our waiter was very GOOD.He paid attention to my wife's special food allergies and her preference for how the steak should be prepared.Thanks

This Place is a NO GO!!!! OUR FOOD WAS UNDER COOKED STILL PINK! I had the chicken fried chicken my kid had th cheeseburger sliders and on top of all that the food.was.cold, it took us darn near an gour to get our food after ordering so in the mean time i ordered a salad and that took about 35 from kitchen to table... just a horrible experience all around... I'll never go back

My wife ordered a well done Filet . The first steak came out medium rare. We sent it back , second steak came back still medium rare but now all fat. The manager came to table and she agreed that it was a bad steak. She took the steak away and less than 2 minutes the same steak now was medium well (still pink). I asked the manager if they put that same steak my wife had just touched back on grill. She said yes they are allowed to do that since they have 2 grills, UGH! I am reporting to the health department. If you eat there hope you get the clean grill. I will never be back!!

Worst service I’ve ever had at a Saltgrass Steak House. Just a horrible experience. The food wasn’t good either. I was so upset and had so many complaints I forgot to take pictures. The cook was so rude to my daughter. He refused to cook her steak well done. We were told they could make bread because we came in at 8:00 but after our meal was served some hard bread was brought out. Broccoli was terrible, not steamed after requesting it very tender at time of ordering. We paid our bill and even left a tip. Just take my advise and don’t go.

Food was good waiter was on top of everything. It made date night pleasant for Mrs. Vaughn and I.

They totally have forgotten customer service. Their workers are rude and do not care. They claim they are understaffed and use this as an excuse for their terrible attitudes. We are Landry members and that doesn’t matter. They lie and blame the costumers. Just shut down in Longview and take this terrible business elsewhere. If you want to eat there, don’t waste your time. Find a good restaurant who still cares about its customers. Salt grass isn’t it.

I’m so disappointed! After Saltgrass first opened in Longview and we ate there for the first time, it became my favorite restaurant. We would celebrate our birthdays and anniversary by going to Saltgrass. Even after the quality seemed to decline over time, we would try it again. After today, we won’t be going back. ?Lunch today was terrible. We had four gift cards that our family gave us for Christmas. We used all of them to pay for our lunch as well as our friends who joined us because we don’t plan on going back. Service was good. Our waiter did a great job but the food was not at the quality level that Saltgrass has been known to serve. The steak and chicken were severely overdone; both very dry and tough, sugar instead of salt was on the french fries, and the seeds were left in all of the peppers (appetizer). The salad was pretty good and I was very thankful for it. Again, I’m so disappointed. Now, I guess we will be shopping around for a new favorite steak place. I don’t ever write reviews for anything. I’m usually very forgiving and I get over things easily. I guess I’m writing this because it made me sad. I’m not angry…just disappointed.We were celebrating early for Valentines Day after church today. We will just have to have a “do over” soon….but in a different restaurant.
