Gypsy and enjoyed the pizza and the building. The pizza was served hot and flavorful. The decorations were very appropriate for the building. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The wait staff was very good as our drinks were checked and filled when needed. The next time we are in the area we will definitely stop by. This restaurant is something we can recommend to all.
I heard great things about Pizza King and I thought to try it out. I went on a Friday evening and my server got my drink wrong which was fine, and I got what I wanted. We didn't have to wait long for the pizza, but I was disappointed in it. There was barely any sauce to the pizza and the onions weren't what I was expecting. If you look at the photo with the pizza crust you can see that there is tin foil on the pizza. This pizza might have been good in the past, but to me it just tastes like frozen pizza with fresh toppings.One good thing though is their salads are huge so it's easy to share, but their menu is pretty limited.
My family has eaten here for generations. My great grandparents has their first date at pizza king. Growing up I didn’t care that much for it, but my boyfriend and I decided to change things up and eat here last night. It was so good! The service wasn’t the best, but it was satisfactory, in my opinion. Everyone kind of worked as a team to take care of tables. And the pizza was great! I love the crumbly hamburger topping!
When in Longview, one should stop at Pizza King and pickup a couple of pizzas loaded with toppings and always delicious. If you like vegetables, the veggie pizza has a large amount. Meats? Lots of choices. Even jalapenos. There are other items besides pizza, but have not had a chance to try any yet. We usually get some pies to go, eat a little in the parking lot, and save the rest for the drive home. Highly recommend!
We ate here today and the food and service was excellent. Our server was the sweetest and made sure our drinks stayed filled. The girl working at the registerwas nice also. I would definitely come vack.
This is by far the best pizza in this area. Generous toppings and thin crunchy crust. Just delicious.
My gun shop recommended Pizza King to me, and I'm super glad I went. The pizza I ordered had pepperoni, sausage, onions, green peppers and jalepenos. The toppings were very generous. Normal pizza places put on very few per slice, but there was a solid layer of each, which made me pleased. Will definitely return if/when I'm in Longview again!
Had a very good experience here. The food wasn’t the best pizza I have ever had, but it was a great atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. I especially enjoyed the old timey diner feel.
We thoroughly enjoyed our pizza order especially the one we have to order for our gluten free loved one! He was impressed and enjoyed every bit of it! We enjoyed the regular crust pizza immensely ourselves and we will be back! Thank you for your great service.
Best pizza in North Texas hands down! I never knew as a kid eating at Pizza King just how lucky I was until I moved away and tried to find good pizza! Now, every time I come back for a visit to Longview my trip isn’t complete unless I have Pizza King. The pizza is consistent always and so are the crowds. To cut down on wait time I recommend calling ahead for them to start the pizza if you are eating in. The take n bake pizzas are awesome, but of course eating in while it’s hot and fresh are my preferred option. If you haven’t eaten here then you are totally missing out!
