Due to dietary issues, I ordered specific items and was willing to pay for it. Not a single thing I ordered was correct. I got things I cannot eat and had to throw them away. The sandwich that I ordered (steak and cheese) had 1 sliver of beef and a small spot of cheese on an 5 inch bread sub. I spent $15 on this meal and got to eat 1 sliver of beef and a large piece of bread. Unacceptable.
So, I was left slightly disappointed this morning. I went to Panera Bread in Longview today and ordered a fruit cup, two smoothies, and added on an oatmeal without the pecans. My first issue was that they kept the pecans so I had to pick them out. No biggie, since I am not allergic. But that left my oatmeal bland as all the sugar was on top of the oatmeal. Then I start in to my fruit cup. Guess what, my fruit is still partially frozen, not cold, frozen. Now I have to wait for it to thaw out a bit before I can finish eating. I am not a happy camper today. No this is no april fools joke. I hope I do not have this experience in the future as. I probably should have just come inside because I honestly felt rushed by the lady at the window when I tried to ask about the oatmeal, if it came with pecans or if I could order it without the pecans. Meh, it is what it is. Maybe next time will be better.
Their cheddar broccoli soup is all I could eat after getting 3 teeth extractions in the same day
although I love panera bread .. I was disappointed that this panera doesn't do poppy seed bagels .. but it's on their menu .. and they don't make pecan rolls .. both of which are my favorites
I left my wallet in Tyler 70 miles away and needed to pay with my phone and they assisted me trying for 15 minutes and then I finally remembered that I could just call where I left my wallet at and they could tell me my number over the phone to pay for my order. The young lady waiting on me was so very patient and helpful and even gave me a discount because she felt sorry for us. I wish I had written her name down because she was such a blessing to us tonight and the food of course is always excellent.
The rating is for the coffee subscription. I have enjoyed it immensely. Though the coffee is not the best (better than McDonalds) the service itself is excellent.
Ordered bagels for delivery to the Longview Regional ER as an appreciation for all they do. Order was specifically designated to the Emergency room. Ordered through the Panera app for deliver at 8:15am. At 9:15am bagels still not delivered. Called Panera and was told they don't deliver, they use doordash for deliveries. I explained the situation and was told I would need to contact doordash. I'm NOT doing business with doordash!! I'm doing business with Panera!! The manager said, I can't help you. I work for a large corporation and I order catering quite often...they are no longer my go to...I'll just go elswhere!
Panera is absolutely one of my FAVORITE places to take the wife for a quick, delicious and pretty healthy bite, and for meeting friends for some good coffee & conversation. You just can't find their selection of yummy baked items, soups & sandwiches around this side of town, not to mention the very friendly & helpful staff. And who else has a warm fireplace that you can actually sit under! So if you're looking for cozy & comfortable place with some unique coffees, teas, and delicious fresh-made selections, and where you can actually hear each other talk, then Panera is your place!!
today was my 1st time ever in a Panera ..the lady was so helpful..took the time to explain everything to me..and never not one time got frustrated with us for all the questions and indecisiveness....i just wanna say thank you and yall did an ahhhmazinggg job...it was very clean and fast service...good job... ohh and the brownies and cranberry muffins are ahhhmazinggg and so mouth-watering..fresh and moist ..
We were first timers here and the girl at the front gave a list of her recommendations and favorites. We were amazed by the Chipotle Avocado Chicken Melt, which I highly recommend! They also had different flavored tea, which even had no sugars added. This made me feel special because it was as if they cared about the preferences of their customers. Overall, great visit and will definitely be returning!
