I had 12 people from Oil Bowl on Cotton st. After our league was over to celebrate. We went to website to see if we could reserve a table it said no reservations. We get there told them how many they said 5 minutes. 15 minutes passed I go back to see what was hold up. Some manager or whoever she was said 5 more minutes I said table is ready she was so rude. She proceeded to tell me Ma'am you should have called first. I said i went to website and you can't reserve so whats the problem. Well she said i need to make sure we serve all of you with two server's we are seating you in a minute. Just loud embarrassed me so bad I wanted to walk but had all these ladies with me. Never will I ever be back, neither will the ladies I was with either.
The Trip of Italy is a big meal. The cook did a good job. Shawn, the server kept the drinks full and bread coming. The over the experience was good. Wait time was 26 minutes, and food came out quickly. Enjoy...
Sangria tasted like bartender put wine with food coloring and fruit only does not know how to make one Not good at all. Lasagna frittata tasted like spaghetti sauce was on it. Bread sticks hard on the ends. I was disappointed
Menu has changed due to Covid??? There were things missing that I love!! However, hard to beat their salad and bread sticks!! Service was good. Selma was amazing, I will ask for her next time we visit.
It was not a good experience...at all. I get places are under staffed but it was 1:30, Not crowded, but having to flag a server down to ask about our server was a but much. Orders were wrong including both food & drinks. No apologies from anyone. Bless our servers heart. She's been there two weeks & I sincerely hope she makes it.
The food was good, but there was not adequate staffing available. Even though we got there at 1 pm, we had a 30 minute wait. There seemed to be 1 waitress working 1 side. No drink refills. 1 of us got the endless soup and salad. No refills offered until time to get the check. No drinks refilled at all.
Ordered take out, soup is good neither meal we god had hardly any sauce at all I'm not convinced one of them has anything at all on it just chicken and shrimp no sauce at all. Idk why olive garden has went down hill so bad over the last few years we had gave up in it and we was in the area so we would try again. We'll not again sealed the deal.
I must admit we had absolutely the best experience with our waiter. He just clocked in for a busy lunch. He had 4 tables seated at once and let me say he did not disappoint! He took drink orders, or appetizers and came back with drinks and took our lunch orders. That man worked so good we never noticed he was jumping from table to table in ordered as we were seated. He was also training another gentleman too. Our food came and everything was delicious. He was great. Everyone was happy. Service he provided was top notch. We'll continue to eat here...they do the best they can to please the customers. Thank you.
If I could give it 0 I would. I LOVE Olive Garden but my last experience was terrible. Our salad had A LOT of dressing but we just ignored it & still stayed but when our chicken and shrimp carbonara came out that’s when we knew that we would not be back. The chicken was BURNT and I mean burnt all black we have never had a problem with it before. We got 3 of the kids spaghetti and meatballs 2 of them to go. The one that was to eat there had no flavor and the meatball tasted so bad my kid didn’t eat it. The other 2 seemed okay but when the kids opened them at home they had spaghetti soup which is what we asked for but once you got to the bottom it was angel hair kind that we did not order again the meatball and sauce had no flavor. It was overall a bad experience, for their price I expect my food to be cooked right and not burnt.
This Olive Garden in Longview, Texas was a very nice experience; the employees were friendly; attentive and seemed to enjoy where they were working!!? There wasn't a long wait to be waited on and served once seated; pleasant environment and the restaurant was clean!!! I enjoyed my server and service so much that I left him a $60. tip!!! Great Italian American food!!?
