Ever since I tried the Mexican tuna I have raved about Nanny Goat's but today I received the worst service and the quality of the food honestly made me cry. Wish I could post the photo's. I got the steak quesadilla special. After waiting 30mins they decide to tell me they were out of queso. Ok fine no problem I'll take the guacamole. After another 10mins I finally get my food and the guacamole is spread along the bottom of the container. With chips, pickles and mini muffin all dipped into the guacamole. SMH. I should of just got my money back.
Disappointed in Nanny Goats. Nanny Goats was always a favourite of mine and I love the house salad with the house dressing and a rice crispy square. Being my birthday I wanted to treat myself so I called in the order for pickup. When I arrived they didn't have my order and couldn't find it- no biggie sometimes technology is wonky. Then I waited for what seemed like forever for a simple salad that normally only takes 5 minutes at the most. When I get back to the office I have wilted lettuce, barely any feta or pecans, and none of the pickles or mini muffins. at least half of the salad was inedible. I figured the rice crispy square might save the disaster I was given- but unfortunately the square was stale and had a horrible taste to it. I ended up having to toss both items and have ramen noodles for my birthday lunch. Y'all- I'm super disappointed. :(
As of late, quality of the food has decreased. Muffins, which I loved, are now very dry, take and bake dinners not as tasty, and the same with the salads. Also, the portion sizes have visibility decreased yet the price remains consistent. Thought it was me but have heard unsolicited complaints from coworkers. Disappointing, was the only place to get relatively healthy food quickly.
What a great place to have lunch. Reasonably priced. Fried Green Tomatoes are AMAZING. Spinach Salad with Chicken is great. Love it.
Great place for quick precooked meals to take home for heat and serve. Also has salads, sandwiches, and deserts.
The food looks good from a distance, but a lot of the time is runny bc it gets frozen then melts and water gets all in the chick salad, pimento cheese etc. It’s a nice place and no shade to the girls at the front, but they aren’t very quick. If you don’t get up in their face or call out for then, you are not getting helped. Unless it’s extremely busy and you’re the next in line, you will be forgot. Nice spot though, always super packed for lunch.
I have always come to Nanny Goat’s to eat but the last few times I’ve been there the quality and customer service has been depleted. Today I made an order to eat there with an order to go. When I received my order to go which was a spinach salad minus the tangerines, it was missing the cranberries and the Feta cheese. So, I take it back. They then put raisins on the salad. I said something and the girl asked the kitchen and they said they were out of cranberries. So I’ll have to pick the raisins off. I get home, and there is no dressing in the salad container! What is going on with the business these days? I did send them a message on messenger but they have chosen to read it and not respond ?
Very disappointed. I used to LOVE this place and went all the time.POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Ordered a spinach salad with cup of jalapeños on side...Got it curbside. When I got to where I was going to eat it, I couldn’t find my cup of jalapeños. Figured they were left out. I opened my salad and took a bite. it had chopped jalapeños all under the feta and nuts and bacon…COVERING my salad. (Last week ordered 2 and neither had cranberries or feta). Called to see if I could bring this one back so that it was not COVERED in peppers...They said I would have to BUY another!! They said it was a miscommunication and I should have said a cup…which I DID! Jocelyn and I discussed the jalapeños before I completed my order because I asked if they had changed from sliced, like it used to always be, to chopped. Before she completed my order on phone she asked if I still wanted them since they were chopped.. I said that I would like a cup on the side. (This is the only thing I order here and order it the same way every time...usually with a cup of jalapeños and an extra cup of pickles....very disappointed that they do not seem to care about customer service anymore. Usually if there is an error, and especially if it has already been discussed PRIOR to placing order, a restaurant makes it right. I didn’t eat it because it is SO HOT and I didn’t order it this way. It wasn’t like I could take the slices off…they are finely chopped and covering the entire salad. Asked for manager...who then said...”I spoke with my supervisor and she said you would have to pay for another salad!” REALLY?!?!?! I thought you were the manager!!! Customer service does not seems to be a priority any more... Two weeks in a row. I always received great service when the blonde lady managed it! It never used to be like this! It used to have great service. Very disappointed! And their Mexican tuna rocked! Don’t know if it still does…after this…I am not going to even chance it! :(
Absolutely amazing food, great atmosphere and very clean. Burgers, tomato basil soup and the muffins❤️ so good.
Had lunch here today for the first time and had the tuna salad sandwich, will definitely be back!
