I really enjoy this restaurant. They have really good wonton soup and the staff I have encountered here have been very friendly. They usually get the order correct and are quick to get the food out. Portion sizes are average and the food tastes good. It's one of my favorites locally. The drive through is a little annoying to use because of the small space that the restaurant is located in, but aside from that it's great.
I came here on a Saturday night and I called ahead, and my food was ready in 5-10 minutes, which was great! I ordered two portions of General Tso's Chicken, two orders of sweet and sour, fried rice and four egg rolls. This was for four people and I was not impressed with the food. The General Tso's Chicken was not spicy and almost tasted like barbecue chicken tasting. The sweet and sour chicken was already tossed in the sweet and sour sauce which was very weird and unexpected, and the fried rice was just brown rice without any vegetables or egg. The egg rolls were fine, but did not give any sauce to dip them in. I was expecting more especially from hearing how great this place was, but unfortunately I won't be back unless the food quality is better.
I have never received anything other than great-tasting food until last night. I ordered Shrimp Fried Rice with $2 extra shrimp, and my daughter ordered the Shrimp and Broccoli. Our food is unedible because of how fishy the shrimp are, and I ORDERED EXTRA SHRIMP! The soy sauce helps some, but I think I'm out of it and I still have almost an entire carton full. So disappointed. I probably will not risk wasting money that I do not have to waste again, I haven't called the restaurant yet, but I will when they open.
The last 3 times my fiance has gone through the drive through and ordered spicy combination fried rice ( granted his accent is super thick) the last 3 times it has not been spicy and this last time I asked the lady myself at the window if it was spicy and she said no, I said well he wants it spicy and she said okay, got home opened his rice, it was not spicy!!!!! This is honestly ridiculous, and he even repeated himself 4 times when she was taking his order!!! We will not be back.
Haven't been but it sure smells good! Me and the fiancée will have to try. We've heard good things.
Been goin to Magic China since I was a kid & after the new owners took over everything changed for the worse. And it wasn't that great before to be honest cause we would eat at Chens Garden majority of the time until they closed if we wanted "actual" good & fresh Chinese food. Magic China has always had crunchy rice & rude service though & closed whenever they wanted to even though they had set times to be open & closed so that's nothing new. I'm surprised they are actually still open considering they've hit rock bottom on sales & the quality of the food they serve when it wasn't that great before the change & the prices are even higher now. If you want good quality service & food & not crunchy rice that's delicious & fresh with reasonable prices, don't go here. Go to "China King" js.. ?
Just got two different meals. Lunch General Tsos and Broccoli Beef. It came with entree, fried rice and an egg roll. Chicken was way overcooked and tasteless, rice stale and crispy. Egg roll was so dry and the sweet and sour sauce was more like jelly. Broccoli beef was a little better but still not good and the only thing that was really edible was the fortune cookie. Used to go here years ago, but never again. Save your money and time.
Used to come here ages ago and it was amazing but not anymore. Overpriced,small portions and damn near inedible. I had general TSOs with fried rice and egg roll. Egg roll and chicken were both overcooked and the rice was stale. Sweet and sour sauce was basically red jelly and it like everything else, had no flavor. I forced myself to eat 3 or 4 spoonfuls before I started to feel sick. It's now residing in my trash can where it belongs. I only wish I could get my money back. Go to China King instead, beats the pants off this place.

Horrible service. Rude staff. My friend got sick during our visit, and apparently it’s not the first time someone I knew got sick after eating here. Hours on google page are wrong, I’ve seen them turn people away at 8:30 saying the place needed to be cleaned (so the lazy people could go home right at close). They started at 8 sharp cleaning. Idk how this place has such good reviews. If I could give zero stars I would. Definitely telling everyone I know to avoid this place like the plague. This place is not so Magic.
