I definitely should have tried this earlier. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely amazing. We had the "brisket and quarter chicken", their signature "chicken burger" (forgot the name) and the children's "chicken sliders". As far as sides we had the Mexican corn, spinach dip, which were wonderful. I will definitely be going back and placing them in my top 15 good eats in East texas. I've only been once so after a couple more tries it might end up in the top 5!
Freshly prepared food. Generous portions. Quick friendly service. Stopped in here with the family for dinner at 6:00pm. There was a line, but we had our food in about 10 mins. Had their enchiladas, Mexican street corn, and Spanish rice. All were delicious. Especially the enchiladas. Excellent flavor.
The chicken sandwiches are super good. I do prefer the breaded breast. The teas are very good and so are the desserts. Overall a really good spot to grab food to dine in or get to go. The French fries are nice and crispy. The brisket is good and the bottled sauce they keep next to the utensils is delicious.
Very good food, friendly service. Reasonable portion sizes. And you can get actual vegetables--woo hoo! Overall, a solid experience. Recommended.
This place is DELICIOUS!!! but, this $14 brisket plate is not worth the cash. I was wondering where my brisket!?? (I took a bite then realized i didn’t have much to eat). They do have the best double baked mash potatoes ever. Definitely will be going back... just do not order the brisket unless you plan on getting full on the sweet tea that is so sweet it'll cause diabetes. (Yes, I am saying it is too sweet. Order half and half only)
Smelled great inside. Clean nice atmosphere. Buffalo chicken is what I got with a side of brisket. Chicken was on point. Brisket I was very disappointed. I will go back for the Chicken and yes sweet tea was on point.
The wings I got had a weird squishy texture. Maybe that's just the style of cooking but I'm not a fan. I did really like the jalapeno lemonade though
Don't waste your time or money food is undercooked took 30 minutes to get it to go order I spent $50 and was very disappointed will not be back. People placed orders after me to go they got their orders before me larger orders. Somebody behind me complained because he was charged 50 cents for an extra cobbler. Manager offered him a free cobbler. I had to ask about my order before I got my order and still had to wait 10 minutes after I reminded the manager of my order. Got home again the food was undercooked the chicken was partly raw the beans were not cooked completely the broccoli wasn't cooked completely. We will not be back.
Absolutely delicious for adults and kids alikeHalf chicken plate and the drumsticks plate are so yummy
Update as of 12/9/21: I will not be eating here again for a while. The last few times the food has pretty bad. I'm a frequent customer and noticed that something of late has changed. The food quality is very poor. Hopefully they'll figure out what's up and their food quality will improve. I'll try it again on 6-12 months to see where they stand.Great food and great service. The chicken is always on point, the fried okra is great, and their chips and salsa will surprise you.
