Great fish! Served hot. (I cannot stand cold fish.) Beans are served with the meal. Definitely worth the time of stopping there. Great service. Very enjoyable and clean atmosphere. This is a 5 star restaurant for sure.
It was almost empty and I started worrying we had made a bad decision. I had called ahead to see if they had whole catfish and they did.You order at the counter and the food is delivered to the table. Friendly staff. The catfish were cooked to order and excellent. Good size too.French fries and hush puppies were nothing to brag about but the slaw was good. Mikey had filets. They were small and boring. At that size, they should have tossed another one on the plate. I will go back. Like everything, the price is a bit high but it was good fish.
Ordered the $8.00 dinner and received two VERY SMALL PIECES of fish a small cup of cold slaw and enough fries to float 4 battle ships.. This place used to be GOOD,,, now it is just another place to SCAM you of Your money .
It was like old times. Me and my handsome partner Luass was hungry for fish. Can NEVER go wrong with Catfish Village.
The atmosphere is all wrong, the building feels empty and void of feeling. Meals are small, prices high. Feels like a high school business project mor than a professional restaurant.
There were only a few tables taken when we went at 6:00pm. There is no buffet, food bar or salad bar. You order at a counter and it is delivered to your table. The staff is very nice and friendly. I had 2 whole catfish and they were cooked perfectly. Mikey had catfish filets that were so small, I think a third should have been added. It is not cheap but good fish and slaw. I will go again
The most sweet kind caring and patient people in the restaurant business I have come across in a long time!! So enjoyed it!
This was not the same fish they use to have, so was a little disappointed when you have your mind set on a certain taste, but the fish was good. Its a little pricy for the size fish you get.
Food was served hot and fast. Staff was friendly. Homemade onion rings were amazing.
