Good food but the employees are not friendly, their attitudes stink! I totally understand that it's hot back there, and I also understand that it can get hectic and stressful working at a restaurant when busy. But don't take it out on us! No one is forcing you to work there. ?
the bbq is not bad but the sloppy joes are the best. I pick up several when i go that way to visit my folks in Easton.
I will not be going back, my main complaint is that for$20 on a 2 meat plate, I received maybe $5-10 worth and that is being generous! The photo is with the sides taken out.
I'd like to think it that they just an off day however as a frequent customer I have noticed the quality of food has gone downhill over the last year. The beef was dry and bland, sausage was cold in the middle. Pinto beans were bland...no seasoning, not even salt and pepper. Potato salad was inedible hard brown potato cubes and black olives swimming in a mealy watery mayo sauce. Small portions, big prices, zero flavor.$40 for 2. Won't be back.
Their banana pudding is delicious! So is their smoked turkey!
Awesome ribs, brisket, cold slaw, beans, even the toast was perfect! Absolutely delicious! A happy chance discovery while passing through that part of Texas on the way back to Louisiana.
We ordered 1lb of chopped beef and 1lb of ribs. The chopped beef was delicious. The ribs were tough and I was really disappointed because ribs are my favorite. The prices are high. For those 2 items it cost 46.00. Not sure if we will make a return visit.
I bought 1/2 lb sliced beef about 4 o'clock dec 14, 2021 I was soooo disappointed Was dry especially on one end could hardly chew it.. This customer sorry to say wasted $14 won't be back.
Fantastic brisket and chicken. The potato salad hands down best I've ever had. Mayo not mustard and so delicious. You won't be disappointed!!
