I think this place is on purpose turning people away for service. Amanda tried to make me think it would take 15 min for a bag of ice, dosen't SONIC pre-pack ice? There were a handful of cars in the drive-in. Once I tried calling Amanda out about her arguing with me that whole couple of minutes, she could've already been send out my ice. So, instead of serving me what I got was a Refusal of Service. I just dont get it, Amanda made sure even before I ordered to inform me that they were gonna be at least 15 min. long im serving me. So only go here if you can wait at least 15 min, even just for ICE!
Drinks are what brings us back. But this sonic is THE WORST as far as service or taste of food. Yesterday our food wasn’t cooked. And we got the wrong order. Today we waited 10 min for 2 drinks, only to see the manager (and apparently only worker), drive in with donuts 10 min after we had been waiting. So no one was inside!?
Once again I came here and it took them so long to answer the call button that it timed out. Never been to a sonic so bad. You're better to drive to the one in Aubrey. At least they're efficient there.
The Tuesday special of 1/2 price Sonic burgers if you order through the app is great, if you can get the app to work. I tried no less than 10 times to place the order with zero luck. So I pushed the red button, told them the issue and got the following response "Yeah, sometimes the app screws up around this time.". He did offer to honor the 1/2 price drink offer, but said they couldn't honor the burger offer. I use the Sonic app all the time at other Sonics and this is the first time I've ever had a problem using it.......makes me wonder if it's just this Sonic. Very, very unhappy customer.
Today i was at the restaurant to pick up my food. After waiting for 10 min, i was informed that their receipt machine is not working and they were asking what i ordered. Everyone of the staff at the restaurant was running around serving at lease 10 cars at that time. Every single staff was running around and keep apologizing to every customers. I have to give them 5 stars because of their great attitude at the most stressful time.
Must stop on the 423. We are greeted with a smile and hot food every time we stop in to our local Sonic. Oh and the new Oreo/Reese shake is an absolute Must!
Disappointed. Food quality was not good, stale bun and my order was incorrect. The only good thing was that I was able to get my money back.
This is one of the worst Sonics I've been to & I used to live in Oakcliff..Food is always cold and order is wrong every time. Charged me for chili on a burger that I didn't get, put mayo on a burger that I asked for ketchup only & charged me again for a side of chili that I didn't get. This is what happens when you have a bunch of teens in customer service with no management.
My Food chicken figers and tots were all cold and my drink was filled with iceI called the resturant repeatedly, but no one answered so I left a message expressing my discontent and requsted a call back but No one ever called!! Its amazing to me that a simple thing like a courtesy call with an apology couldn't be made!
A year ago I loved this location. But they have since fallen very far. First there was the several weeks of no coffee due to no coffee cup lids. Then there was the time I placed a $10 on an order on the Sonic app, and when I arrived to get it they were closed. Called to get my money back and am still waiting on the refund now, several weeks later. Then there was today when I again placed an order over the app. Then guess what when I drove there ?! They were closed AGAIN! Both visits were during business hours and the app said nothing about this location being closed, when I confirmed the location either time. I will call to request another refund, but will probably be lucky if I get it.
