I was very pleased and impressed with their customer service, by far the best I have been in the last few years. They have a person in the dining room making sure you always have what you need, never had to ask for water or anything else, top notch to say the least. The food was excellent! I had the Grill Quails which is not available at most restaurants and is not easy to cook because they are so small and tender, they were grilled to perfection! If you haven't experienced what customer service is all about, give Mario's a chance you won't be disappointed!!

This place is delicious. I Tried it out once and then, went back 2 more times within about a week or so! You MUST try the FLANK steak with chimichuri (herb sauce.) The wait staff is so kind and usually, pretty attentive. Great tastes and spices here! They have happy hour drink specials.

Excellent papusas and fried plantains. House margarita is very good on the rocks. Highly recommend the Mario's special

I have eaten at the original at the Oak Lawn/ Lemon area in Dallas and it was always for lunch and always great. I love the salsas and bean dip. This location has it all. I do not like the fact it is in a strip mall instead of a stand alone building but a small annoyance. We ordered a meal for 2 but could have fed 4 to 5 easily. We are not shy eaters either. Great food.

the sour cream chicken enchilada omg mouth-watering goodness! The staff is amazingly friendly and the house margaritas are strong! 10/10

They starting salsa was fantastic. The meals were fantastic. Four waitress did a great job. Can't wait to go back!!The papasus were not my favorite but they were still worth trying.

Great food and service! Renata is the best server! We ordered the seafood platter and the streak and shrimp. Everything was perfect. Amazing margarita too!

First of all, the food was fantastic. My husband ordered the special, posted on the special board for $13. When our bill came, we were charged full price ($14.99) for the special. I handed the waiter my card and asked him to adjust the bill before swiping my card. He returned, card swiped, and told me the mgr would not adjust the price because someone wrote the wrong price on the special board. I told the waiter to go tell the mgr that if she didn't adjust the bill, it would come out of his tip. The mgr then came over to our table and kept saying the price on the board was wrong, her hostess wrote it wrong, the hostess didn't know the price, the price in the computer was $14.99 and that's what she was charging us. After some back and forth, she said she'd go get me the $2 if that's all the difference was. She brought back two dollar bills and rudely handed them to me without saying a word, and walked away. How many others have been overcharged, but they didn't look closely at their bill? Awful customer service- won't be back.

My family had a wonderful dinner night out at Mario's. The food and service was wonderful. We had Renata as our waitress and she was super sweet and helpful. Made us feel welcomed. Will definitely be back. :)

I think the restaurant owner/management read the reviews and reacted accordingly. The atmosphere/vibe on a Thursday night was inviting. The staff was friendly and attentive (my water was refilled :)) The food was pretty good. My brisket enchilada tasted great—not too much sauce and the brisket was tender. My wife enjoyed the Mario’s special plate she ordered. Portions were big. Chips and salsa were decent—the salsa and refried beans were good but the chips were a bit on the bland side. Overall I think this place is far from perfect but they definitely deserve more than the 2-3 stars received in the past few months.
