Absolutely the BEST seafood we have had in a very long time!! We are from Oklahoma City but will be back again in the near future. And the free hurricanes didn’t hurt either!! Great service. Amazing food. Great start to our vacation!
We live in Grapevine and some friends told us about it when they were giving free drinks. Well we still on occasion go there. (off the beaten path) but the seafood is EXCELLENT, side dishes are soso. But again best bang for your money.
Had never been to The Catch before but was in the mood for some seafood so we decided to give it a try. It was really good. We tried a little of everything, shrimp was lightly fried without being crunchy, the catfish was breaded well, and light and fluffy on the inside. We also did the half pound of boiled shrimp with potatoes and corn. The garlic butter was not overly oily and had a nice taste but could have had a bit more garlic flavor to it. The corn on the cob was a bit soggy but still had a nice flavor. The gumbo tasted like it may not have been fresh but still had a nice punch to it. Overall, very good place to eat and we got all that food for less than $40 including drinks, so I was very pleased with the “bang for our buck”. Will definitely stop in to eat again.
Such good food! I did not like catfish because of past experiences with bad catfish but the catfish here was so good! We had the whitefish and desserts and it was so delicious! Good food. Good atmosphere. Good service. Friendly staff! Loved it! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because the key lime pie needs a new recipe. It was not good at all. The banana pudding and beignets were delicious! ?
This place is did not meet my expectations. I don’t know where to start. From the moment we walked into the Lewisville location we felt sick. The floor was nasty, the booths were nasty, food waste all over the place, and everything you touch was nasty.Next it looked like customers just eat here all the time and no one ever cleans up. I had to ask for my table to be clean. Nothing is wipe down and they were out of everything we wanted to eat.The staff was friendly but I can tell they are young with no self pride in their work. No one took the time to make sure the place was clean, items re-stocked and condiments refilled.The tv they have in the place look like it’s about to blow out in any minute. You ate literally eating next to trash cans that look like it has never Ben cleaned.The food was okay. It was almost uneatable. I tasted like they leave the food out all day and the food goes out as order. Everything tasted like it has been sitting for hours. Nothing taste as if it was made fresh. I spent over $80 on my family in it was a waste of money. We threw it away and walked out.The health inspector need to be called on this place. Our dishes was dirty. I never left a review this bad before and I feed like this is needed. Maybe the owner will see this and will force change. Don’t waste your money and your family time. The drinks selection was poor.I visit this place on 3/20/2022 around 4pm
First time here! The food is delicious and the service was fantastic.We had the crawfish since it is in season. We ordered the medium spices and it was a perfect blend. Not too spicy or mild.The hush puppies were seasoned well and were fried to perfect deliciousness.The only recommendation I have is to install a hook in the women's restroom to hang purses. There may even be enough room to add a small table to set the purse on.

This is our first time in, this crawfish season and they definitely were not as good as they used to be. We ordered 5 pounds of Medium Cajun flavor, nearly half of them were mushy and the meat had no flavor. They no longer offer hurricanes or margaritas, their FB post just 5 days ago said that they have hurricanes but the lady that took our order says they did away with them more than 6 months ago. We use to be regulars for crawfish but I don't think we'll be back after this trip. Go back to the old way of doing things, the changes are noticeable and in this case it is negative. I don't usually leave bad reviews before addressing the problem with the staff but those working today are obviously not interested in customer satisfaction.
