The one star is solely for what happened when we arrived to the restaurant not the food. My husband and I went to have sushi so I saw this place. We were told to sit where we like. After the server brought our drinks to us, my husband saw the man at the food window digging in his mouth then started touching the food in the window. When my husband brought it to the server attention he tells us that is one of the owners. Know just because some people don’t believe in Covid, that does not mean you break the health code and digging in your mouth. We left immediately. Just on that only we will never go there again.
This was once a decent place to eat but is a joke now, imo. Ive had food smell super funky, meals not delivered, "fried rice" thats white rice with soy sauce poured on it and I buy a 32oz. drink thats in a styrofoam cup smaller than the 32oz container and is inside of it. I mean cmon, thats not even 32oz and you are now giving me a plastic deli cup w/lid and styrofoam cup w/lid. Their food is overall bland, inconsistent and its disappointing. This food isnt cheap either. We wont be going back and my family has eaten from here for years.
The food has gone downhill. Although we received great service from our waiter, I would recommend them advising him to wear long sleeves due to looks like dried blood sore injections on his arms. Perhaps he’s diabetic and has to take insulin. Idk. But it was pretty horrible to look at an hard to miss as he checked on us each time! I literally couldn’t stomach it as for the food was already no up to standards. I honestly feel they have something running behind scenes more than that restaurant….but who knows. I’ll stick to Ara not too far away from here, instead. And I’ll be contacting Mayor Gilmore to have this place closed down. I’m sure this place has failed health inspection numerous times
Ordered over $50 worth of food for delivery. It was nearing the delivery window end time so I went to check if they were pulling up before calling only to see my food on the porch. They never knocked or rang the bell so who knows how long it was out there. Ordered general TSO chicken spicy and the chicken was chewy/rubbery, gross and not spicy at all. The beef and broccoli was over drenched in soy sauce and red pepper flakes. No real flavor. Very disappointing for the cost in food quality and well as the delivery service. It has you tip at checkout and I did leave 20% so it wasn't that.
So this is a good, cheap option. But do not order sushi here. I ordered two rolls, both of which had salmon. The first was ok, the rice was still crunchy in some places, but the flavor was good. The second I ordered was a salmon roll. The first bite I took had an overwhelming fishy smell and taste, and I couldn’t swallow it. Maybe I was being overly sensitive but it made me sick to my stomach. I’ve never had sushi anywhere else that’s had that strong of a fish odor.Their other options are a great price, and pretty good especially for the price, but not the sushi.
Literally every single time we order, whether it be delivery, carry out OR dine in. They just canNOT get the order right and the food is always different. Every single time you order pho, different noodles, only 1 kind is good. The rest are gummy or rounded and hard. Ordered food from there again, got my food wrong again. Won’t order again. Costs way too much for them to screw up the order every.single.time.
I broke my number 1 rule about eating out and that's never to eat at a place where the person taking your order has an attitude. We don't know what's going on in these kitchens. Since eating here I've been queasy. I got General Tsos chicken and it took a soy sauce bath. The fried rice was blan and quantity of food was depressing. Save yourself the trouble of eating here; very disappointing!
3 visits, 3 different dishes, all were not good. tried to give them a chance since I love Chinese and just moved here. Unfortunately got worse and worse.
Really disappointed with tonight’s order. I’ve eaten here 3 times and the quality of tonight’s dish was bad. The food was bland and lacking the usual flavor I’m used to. AND there was a piece of a paper towel. It was wet and crumpled and I thought it was a piece of chicken. I unrolled it and it was paper. I’m disgusted.
PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE!!! On my lunch 11/3 I decided to try this place for the first time.. I sat in there 25 minutes waiting for my food.. when I asked the guy what’s taking so long he grabs it off the rack behind him. My food had been sitting there 10 minutes. I get in my car and taste the food. HORRIBLE. The seaseme chicken was hard and tasted like salt and soy sauce ,the egg roll taste old like dirty socks. Never again
