The establishment is worn out! 2008Need upkeep! Seen cross contamination while ordering the chicken grill is in front I didn't order chicken. But my taco was wet soft I opened after a soft unusual bite yuck! Pink beef! They need better management and corporate needs to invest or close their business. They profit from Alcohol so they care less on food.
Consider this place only when Taco Casa, Taco Bell, Taco Bueno, other taco places, and all other restaurants in town are closed. They play loud Spanish music, not just one, two or three employes play different musics so you get headaches fast. I guess they do this so no one can dine in??? Plus, rude. Out of 7 employees there, one who speaks English is so rude. She thinks she is the queen of the place so she can look down customers. I canceled my order and left. Also, when you are standing by counter, you will see whole kitchen with contamination. How they passed health inspection???
TACO CABAÑA: a long time staple of Tex Mex fast-food, finally re-opens its doors to dine inn guests after the Pandemic government restrictions.I've been eating here for almost four decades and remember it fondly. Unfortunately, Taco Cabana's glory days of old are long long gone.Since the so-called pandemic affected Texas, so it did (affected) this once popular restaurant.Food is not as delicious, the tacos are mostly served cold and incipient.I was very happy to see the dining room open once again, but the entire dining area was a mess. There was a pungent smell of raw sewerage coming from the bathrooms (or kitchen)I ordered the fajita tacos and the chorizo and papa with eggs breakfast tacos for here (dine in).The fajita taco was bare and it came with no fixings. All I had to compliment my fajita taco was a little salsa in a to go container. The potato with chorizo and egg taco came with its ingredients not blended in. Papas were separate and falling off the burri-taco. Both items were cold and when I poured my diet Coke (typical, huh! fatty foods washed down with a diet drink. LOL)the diet coke was out of Syrup!Overall I give this place a 3 stars (gotta give them a chance to improve since they've just re-opened after the pandemic).I would come back if they clean up their act. Miss the old, glory days of Taco Cabana.
The manager with the blue hair was disrespectful to me and I felt like I being racially profiled. She was on her phone not caring about any customer in line at all.1 star terrible service!
Ordered breakfast plate in morning with 20 minutes pickup time. They were really helpful on phone while ordering, and service was fast when I was in store for pick up. I would order it again.
Place is so good, I know it's kinda basic but I get the plain beef soft Taco with cheese and a bean and cheese soft Taco, the beef Taco is absolutely amazing, and the bean Taco is a bit boring but still pretty good
Tortillas weren't cooked properly and were served anyway. Beans and rice are old. No receipt given. Ordered the enchilada plate.
Food was very good. Made fresh and the staff was very friendly.
The sauce they gave me for my quesadilla's the lid was melted on the bowl and it had aluminum foil on top, but it was still leaking. The worse thing was it was upside down in the bag.
Food was OK. The girl who took my order was polite and efficient and actually got it right the first time.the food is best if you can eat it right there. Price was a little expensive but everybody is going up. Order a small queso with your steak tacos and you'll leave happy..
