Finally, after being in the area for YEARS a place that knows how to make quality Asian food. I especially like their entrees with shrimp.
I got General Tso’s chicken, which came with a side of rice. However, fried rice was an extra $1. I did not realize it until I got home, but the fried rice had no veggies in it. Apparently their fried rice does not come with veggies in it automatically. The portion of General Tso’s Chicken was quite large. However, the chicken was chewy and tasted old. I also got an order of Crab Rangoons, which came with four. These also tasted old and hard to chew. The chicken egg roll was okay. This was all $20. Overall, the food didn’t taste fresh. I ate a few bites and trashed the rest. I won’t go back.
Finally! Finally! I've tried a plethora of Asian restaurants, Chinese restaurants, and more looking for a place that would awaken my senses. The food was absolutely delicious! Let me preface my statements by saying, I was quite hungry! Nonetheless, the flavor of the General Tsos Chicken was superb and the spicy level was precisely on point! The amount of food given was also ideal! The Pad Thai was phenomenal to me! It had a hint of sweetness which was a nice surprise, the spicy level was prefect, and the texture was heavenly! We'll be back again and again!
My daughter and I had lunch here yesterday! We both had sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and it was delicious! The owner, who was super friendly, gave us a sample of their Hunan chicken and it was amazing! We will definitely be back!
The food was absolutely delicious! I will not order from anyone else again. The Combination fried rice was amazing. The egg rolls were amazing. Service was awesome and quick! We will be back for sure!
I was so disappointed. This location seems to always be busy and after trying it, I’m trying to figure out why. I ordered the orange chicken entree with rice. I wasn’t aware that no veggies came with the fried rice in which I had already paid extra for. Turns out you have to pay extra for to get veggies in the rice as well. I took a few bites and trashed the rest. The chicken spring rolls however are decent. The crab Rangoon were basic and I don’t recommend. Only thing I would recommend are the chicken spring rolls.
I was really excited to try this place but it wasn’t good. My chicken was chewy and didn’t seem fresh. I didn’t care for the fried rice. It was a Saturday afternoon but the place was empty. I’m not sure if I care to give another chance. It was money wasted since I couldn’t bring myself to continue to eat the chicken. The flavor was good but that’s it.
Just looking for a place to have some Chinese food that wasn't Panda Express. This location came up and went inside. Amazed by the owner/cashier with how nice and social he is. We ordered chicken wings, orange chicken, fried rice and beef lo mein. Huge portions as the food came out. Everything was delicious. Owner came to check on us frequently and even gave us general tso's chicken to sample. Definitely recommend it here
I will definitely give more than 5 star to this hidden gem in all of Carrollton and Lewisville location .Open rice provides best quality Chinese food, has great Lunch options too.I have lived in this area for more than 5 years, and gave up eating Chinese food since they were no good, until OpenRice opened their kitchen .My (and my family and friends ) fav is Hunan chicken.Must-try the steamed chicken dumplings and Singapore rice noodle and Cantonese Rice noodle, it is less oily and you can adjust the spice level as you like.
This place is my go to place for fried rice in the area. The taste of it is amazing in addition with the portion size they give you makes it unbeatable!
