Every time we travel this way we make it a point to stop here for this high quality BBQ. And trust me, I am so picky. The brisket is always moist and tender and so are the ribs. The sauce is also delicious and I think they have a ‘hot’ version as well. They have a very large selection of sides (like a dozen) so there is something there for all tastes. I like their peach cobbler a lot but there are about 6 different pies also to choose from. They also have a self-serve ice cream machine. I definitely recommend this small family owned restaurant. They do a lot of takeout too. Enjoy!

My son invited me to lunch and this boy can eat so I knew I was in for a treat. Old House BBQ does not disappoint! From the outside the place doesn’t look like much but hey it’s not the Ritz it’s a bbq joint so all good. The inside was up kept well with a very good selection to choose from.I had the three meat plate and my son had the loaded baked potato…we were stuffed when done!Food was really really good and priced well. Let’s just say I will return!!

Great local spot with character, great food, and good service. Rustic red barn building lets you know up front this is traditional BBQ, but the menu is varied and does offer newer variations. The smell of the meats will make you even hungrier, and the flavor will not disappoint. Line style service with generous portions and decent prices. Good for weekly visits or whenever you need a BBQ fix.

By far the worst BBQ restaurant I've been to. First glance it looks great and smells great, but youll be standing there confused if someone will take your order or seat you. Its pretty cluttered and unorganized, they don't say anything when you walk in the door until you walk to the guy cutting meat. Maybe because I'm white they weren't very welcoming? All of the food from the Mac n cheese to the brisket and sausage literally tastes like Vienna sausages, like they boiled the Mac n cheese in Vienna sausage water and dipped the meats in it. I won't be coming back, complete waste of $30 for 2 people on food and service that was horrible.

This is a traditional Texan BBQ restaurant located just off the freeway. Seating available both inside or outdoors. The menu consists in a protein which could be brisket, ribs or sausage and then you build your own plate through the line with as many sides as you want. The food was good and the service was friendly. This experience was more like a quick service restaurant than a dine in.

Brisket didn't taste smoked. Almost no smoke ring, no flavor at all. It was more like an unsalted pot roast. Sides aren't bad, they're just mediocre. Not sure how this place got good ratings. Maybe it used to be good

I stole $40 worth of ribs from this restaurant.Couple days ago I ordered delivery close to the end of the day through GrubHub. The delivery went pretty well except the peach cobbler I ordered was not delivered The sides and the ribs and the kids meal with brisket we're all good. I went into the grubhub app and reported that the cobbler was missing and within about 15 minutes there was an email saying that I had been credited for the cobbler I also received simultaneously a separate email that said I was credited for the ribs. I definitely received those and ate them over the course of a couple days.I web chatted with GrubHub to explain the situation and they said there really wasn't much they could do and I asked if that would penalize the restaurant and they said Oh yes they will not get paid for things they did not deliver of course I did receive the ribs so I decided to go to the restaurant the next day and pay for the ribs.I went in around lunch time or a little after and asked to speak to the manager and I assume that the person I spoke to was actually the owner and I explained the situation.I paid him the money I owed for the ribs and asked for a cobbler to purchase. He thanked me and gave me a free cobbler to try.I will definitely go here again, if you haven't already, give them a try.

One of several BBQ establishments we frequent and enjoy. There is a loaded baked potato Q that is to die for. Fundamental baked potato with all the fixings customer get’s to select the meat.

The employees were not friendly - why do I expect that at a BBQ place? Cuz it's Southern, cuz it's Texas, cuz it's traditional. But the brisket was moist and flavorful, so yes, I will return, begrudgingly, for the food. Only for the food.

Found this place by accident and glad we did...everything was great. We will be back for sure!
