I normally BBQ on my own due to the lack of seasoning and true BBQ with a good wood or charcoal to enhance.I was craving BBQ on my lunch hour. Decided to try Soulmans BBQ. I tried to door dash and their was an error. No worries. I’ll drive. Got there and let’s start with the customer service which is lacking these days. Customer service was excellent. Even at checkout I received “have a blessed day mam” may seem small to others but it made my heart smile.EVERYTHING was seasoned. The fried cabbage/ the corn/ the beans/ the meat was seasoned, tender, and just dang good. I will return to try other menu items that I know won’t disappoint….

Okay so I’m from Ohio visiting and let me tell you this was sooo good from food to desert!! If I can I will make soul man’s a 5 start Restaurant,there customer service was amazing and very welcoming and accommodating, I want to say ,thank you guys !!❤️
I’ve ordered from the Dallas location(now closed, can’t remember the street name) in the past all the time. The sliced brisket is normally very moist and tender(the best!!). This time it was not tender and very dry. :( The potato salad was more like tangy mashed potatoes. The only thing that was a little enjoyable was the cabbage. All locations are definitely not created equal! #LessonLearned #VeryDisappointed

This is my local BBQ joint. When I want a sliced brisket sandwich that is moist and perfect, this is where we come to. 100% better then Dickies or Springcreek ?Richard and Tim are always super helpful and nice. And always keep the line moving (I hate waiting ?)Also, do NOT pass on the banana pudding. Trust me, your mouth wants it!!!And Charli loves her doggy bags ?
Great food, great service! While many other establishments have gone downhill, the Soulman's in Lewisville has maintained its high standards.
Ordered delivery. I had called before to explain problems in the past. They said they’d check the order which they apparently didn’t do. Eating bbq without sauce just isn’t bbq.
My favorite BBQ spot. The place has always been neat and clean before the pandemic and all the employees are customer service friendly. The bbq and sides are off the chain
Management was very nice. However, I have eaten barbecue from numerous establishments and with 30 years of a good taste ethic for barbecue and its’ freshness, I am led to believe when I ate barbecue at this location, it was several days old. At any rate, I offered no complaint to management. Perhaps they are trying to maintain and keep the business flowing with the challenges of the Covid- era.
