Not worth the price or hype. They advertise showing these huge burritos. Went there and they skimp on the rice and meat.On top of that $2 for a tablespoon of Queso. What a rip off!! Will not be back. Spent more than $45. Could have got the same at Taco Bell for half the price!Update 7/11 - Its been more than 3 weeks since I sent an email to the below email and no response. Just a waste of time.
Writing a review since Ms. Bentley caused a scene at this location while I was eating there, saying she was going to leave a bad review. Food is always great, staff is exceptional and super friendly. Ozzy is so kind and he asks how I am everytime I come eat. Kudos to the staff here for dealing with difficult and disrespectful people on a daily basis. Service workers are people too.
Everyone was very friendly, it was fast, it was clean. You walk in choose what you want. They fix it as you watch like subway and you pay for it then sit and eat. It was very good and I would definitely go back. I do recommend it. It was clean and fast.
I tried Freebirds for the very first time and I overall enjoyed my experience at this location. Daniel and Izzy were extremely nice, patient, and welcoming. I had a chicken bowl with all the fixings. It was pretty tasty although it wasn’t as hot in temperature as I would’ve liked but that also could’ve been due to the extra sauce I requested on my bowl.
I’ve never ate here before so decided to stop by. I walked in and checked out the menu. I asked the lady behind the counter what size burrito the person in front of me was getting? She said that was the monster size. So I said “great I’ll take that”. So she “Paige” said if I would like to sample any of the ingredients first I could. I thought that was nice! So I decided to get a monster size with cayenne flavored tortilla and steak and black beans and all the fixings. She put together a great tasting burrito ?. Very nice and helpful she was. Great first impression of the place. Burrito tasted great and I’ll definitely will be back again for another burrito! ???
Jeremy and staff were amazing! Carry themselves like true gentleman. Love this location and this staff. The owner or head manager needs to do something for the 3 gentleman working the lunch shift February 21, 2022. Incentives go a long way. Keep these guys happy.
My daughter has food allergies and sensitivities. I’ve gotten her a custom kids meal with just three items at other free birds with no problems. Here the manager seemed totally put out by my request and charged me 12$!! Totally ridiculous!
I love the food here, been eating for over a decade, but the Death Sauce is weak sauce and they always keep the inside of the restaurant absolutely frigid. Turn the heat up both in the sauce and on your thermostat and you'll get more stars from me.
My son and I got this amazingly large Burritos and I try to be very careful not to get anything hot. Something was really hot in mind, possibly the guacamole. I didn't think to ask if they put Jalapeno in it. I chose the spicy wrap because they said I had a good flavor. But, it was a little too spicy for me. Both my Sunday night became ill with an intestinal reaction that night in the next day. It hit me and I didn't know till the next day when we talked that he had had it too. Only call to tell them, they said well they would make a note in their accounting department but they could not make a refund on my card at that time. I've checked and it has not come back through as a refund. It was great idea of food.
Been coming here for years. Same great folks working here as we're back in Austin. They just remodeled the place and it looks great. If you don't know Firebirds, then you're missing out on some great food. And the BBQ sauce is something else.
