I must say, I wasn't aware of this eating place till my son told me today. We decided to eat here and was pleasantly surprised. It's in a relatively new development just off Sam Rayburn Tollway in The Colony, TX. It's hidden below a few office buildings and the rest of the retail spaces next to it are not occupied yet. There is a dancing fountain which is part of the development, next to the ground level patio. The ambience is contemporary Mexican, unlike most Tex-Mex where there is a huge stress on Mexican arts and music. There is a well stocked bar at the entrance and the seats and tables are very cozy and comfortable. The staff didn't over do it, but took care of everything needed to make it a quick and good lunch. The restaurant offers an all you can eat buffet for $22 and an A La Carte menu. For lunch we ordered A brisket beef taco plate and a carne asada taco plate. The plate comes with Mexican rice, refried beans and 3 double layered corn tacos. The brisket taco plate is $13 (April 2022) and the carne asada taco plate is $12 (April 2022).Both the Taco plates rate high in taste, layout, quantity. They also give free tortilla chips with green salsa. If you live in this area, give this place a try. You will like it.

This place is attached to what looks like condos/apartment and a bit hidden near the highway. Surprised there was no waiting time on a Friday evening but that may change as this place gets more traffic coming thru. The weather was perfect on this particular day and paired up nicely with the mango margaritas and a cold michelada to start. We ordered the quesobirria and Chile reño and it was ok, nothing extraordinary. If possible I would give it 3.5 but the weather helped bump up.

What a find! May be one of the best margaritas in DFW, and the prices are surprisingly low! Service was amazing, and the retail center with the interactive water feature was a bonus. Looking forward to going back!

Went for brunch and we were thrilled! Usually buffets are not our thing because you get very limited options and flavors are muted. That was not the case here! Brisket, spicy chicken enchiladas, shrimp-potato cakes, tortilla soup, chilaquiles made to order, along with the standards you’d expect like rice, beans, omelets, waffles, and a huge dessert bar. Live Mariachi was the icing on the cake - loved it and cannot wait to try them for dinner.

We were here specifically for the Mariachi Sunday brunch. Although the brunch selection was a little small, the food was very good and the Mariachi entertaining. I would recommend this restaurant. Google Maps takes you to a parking garage at the back and its not easy to see. Just park and walk toward the fountains on the north side of the building.

Second visit last night. Last night was better than the first but the first wasn't bad. Last night I had the veggie quesadillas ? they were so good. Kids meals are good portions. Our water and chips were never empty. Service was great! We'll be back.

Great food and beautiful place, the waitress was checking on our table a little too much, but I think she was new. Overall good experience and will come back!

This restaurant gave us food poisoning. The food was bland and though our dishes were meatless, they tasted as if they had been cooked in the same areas/oils at meat dishes. Even the raw veggies tasted slightly off. We will not be back.

Food was good but it was a bit slow for service. I know they are pretty new but just remember to be patient. We had Mac and cheese bites for appetizer which was good as long as you like BBQ.

It wasn't bad, but not great either.Hot sauce and chips with fried pigs skin at the beginning of dinner is too hot to eat and i normal LOVE the salsa served with chips before Mexican meals but definitely not with fried pig skin either. The guacamole was good but could have used some cilantro for deeper flavor.Fajitas are not normally made from a rib eye steak. It should be a different, thinner cut of meat and should be seasoned. It was a good cut of meat, just not for a fajita asked not seasoned for a fajita.Bar has lots of selections and variety on tequilas and everything else, 5 star bar.
