The food was great for such a modest price! I ordered the "mother's breakfast," the image attached. It came with 3 pancakes, 2 eggs and 3 strips of bacon. Thoroughly enjoyed and only cost $9.99. My friend ordered the chicken tenders. I tasted the chicken tenders and though they were slightly burnt, they had great flavor and surprisingly tender. They had a help wanted sign and although our server was friendly,. We often had to wait a long time for drink refills. When we were first seated, a server was never assigned to us so we waited about 10 min before someone came to ask "have you been helped?" When we said "no," the staff member rolled her eyes and ran to the back, and then we received a server. Bathrooms really needed some work too as the trash can was overflowing and there was trash on the floor. All in all, I will definitely come back but won't be my first choice. If you haven't been, definitely try it!
3 stars for our waitress, Mimi. She was amazing! The management here needs to be trained. Telling people they cannot substitute your frozen TV dinner chicken fried steak for something edible is silly. I don’t mind an up charge for something better, but to charge for two meals is abhorrent. I’m sure my kid’s school serves better frozen steaks.
I love the food. The vegetables are the best. I love cornbread with my veggies but the cornbread muffins have absolutely too many/much Eggs.
Had lunch with a good friend. Although it took quite a while for the server to approaches, she was amazingly friendly and professional. The food was absolutely amazing as always and she always kept her drink refills and cornbread coming out regularly.
I wasn't pleased with my dinner today. The chicken & dumplings were like warm & the vegetables tasted old. The biscuit & cornbread was very good. I'm sorry to say that your waitress turned my stomach when she app rye poached my table. She had green eyelashes and was missing teeth. UnPlease consider how your staff looks & how they manage the customers food. When she gave me my vegetables in bowls her long fingernail was in the bowl. Not okay. I'm being generous with two stars
Food is good. Service needs improvement. Standing/ waiting to be seated wondering where's the host/hostess. Sitting/ waiting far too long waiting on the check to leave. Staff is super friendly and doing their best but seem to be short handed.
The breakfast is always great, but they are very understaffed right now. There were numerous tables that needed to be bused. We waited at the hostess stand for a while, and, what I assume was a manager came out and instead of just seating us herself, she asked someone else to get the hostess. Servers were standing around. So, someone could've been cleaning the tables off. So even if they were staffed right, I think they will still have issues. Poor management.
We went here for lunch and had a great time. The waitress was kind and the food was delicious.

Three of us ordered breakfast, and it was okay. My son ordered chicken tenders off the kid's menu, and they weren't edible. They were rock hard. He could barely eat them. The store was really cool though.
