Dustin was a horrible server!!! he was very lazy when it came to leaving drinks and plates on our table (at least 9 empty cups sat on our table the whole time we were trying to enjoy our meal) as time to collect payment he only removed one plate that was over flowing and left the rest right in front of us, when he came back with our card he still didn’t make an effort to take any cups or plates. we definitely will not be having him as a server as long as we come here.
First time visit here wasn't great. We were not greeted when we walked in because there was no host there. We were first in line and then other customers came in after us and we all waited a good 10 min before we were seated. While waiting one of the waitresses was cleaning a table that already looked clean then looked up at us and kept wiping the table for another few minutes. Someone finally walked by and said someone will be with you and left. After a few more minutes the same waitress that was cleaning the table seated us with menus but then she seated and served someone that was in line behind us that was not our color. Then we were at the table still waiting to order. We finally got a waiter and he was our color and he apologized and took our order. He made up for the lack of service by providing great service. The Green tomatoes were really good. All of our food came out hot and it tasted good but the long wait and the coincidence with the waiter didn't leave a good impression. They may have been understaffed idk
I came to this location at 5pm to order a meatloaf meal and was shocked how poor the food was and how it was presented. Once I got home and open the box, I found hard crumbling pieces of “meatloaf” and a miserable portion. The meat was hard and dry, as was the mashed potatoes. No sauce on the meatloaf either. The green beans were ice cold and the rolls had stale corners. It was revolting and I threw it out.I called the store 5 times trying to reach a manager to no avail. Two hours later someone stating he was the manager called me back and I told him the situation. He was very apologetic and offered more food to me, but I was so put off by my experience, I declined risky additional food.Be sure you check your “to-go” boxes before you leave this store. The food is absolutely amazing, 100% coming back. Only thing I could critique, coming from a restaurant manager myself, closing down the restaurant 30-45 mins before closing is probably not the best idea. Sweeping tables and sliding the chairs in (which is very loud) while people are still trying to eat and enjoy their food. The servers were distracted by trying to close the restaurant down they weren’t as attentive to their tables as they should have been. But besides that this place is so yummy and the music that plays is awesome!
Is our first time here, chicken fried chicken & chicken fried stake are delicious, Eduardo did an amazing job.We come back soon. highly recommended!!
It was so good! I love the southern atmosphere! and our waitress was super friendly and kind!
We went in and were seated but never really greeted by the hostess. We sat there for about 15 to 20 my nutes without anyone even asking us what we wanted to drink. Meanwhile four different serves kept passing our table with not even a word. Another customer was seated across from us and within two seconds someone approached them about what they wanted to drink. We felt like we were being ignored for some reason. We had our food selection all decided and would have spent a good amount of money there. We decided since we were being ignored we would just leave and will never go back. Mind you the dining room was not busy at all. There were only two other tables occupied when we arrived. We have gone here many times before and never been treated this way. I am not a person who just writes review on small things. Management needs to change the way their servers and staff treat customers. When I worked a food service job we wait staff worked as a team and helped if someone was busy. This did not seem to be happening at all.
Walked in about 7 pm. Nobody was waiting to be seated. Stood there for 10+ minutes, no greeting… nothing. I walked over to a server and asked if we could seat ourselves or did we need to wait for a hostess. She went whsaaatttt? With a dumbfounded look on her face, so we left. It was just my daughter and I, and it wasn’t busy.
So I ordered this from Uber eats. I ordered the sides plate, get 5 sides, pay 12 or 13 bucks...the sides were TINY. Literally barely over an ounce. Broccoli cheese casserole...not very good... macaroni tasted like it was kraft out of the box, and the baked squash casserole was delicious, but again ridiculously tiny. I'll leave a picture. Got my kid the kids meal and the mashed potatoes were nasty.
My food never came. The server never even checked on us to see if my food came out hour and a half. The manager said I'll comp your meal, I told him you can't comp something that was never even prepared. He said well its on your bill with an attitude. I was double charged for drinks which amazing was equal to the amount of my "comp" meal I never got. The table next to me waited for food and watched guests seated after them get their meals. Terrible experience, Terrible manager, Terrible service, and even the food that did come out for my children was cold, bot even warm cold.
