Restaurant week enticed us back to this restaurant; however we opted for the regular menu and we enjoyed an outstanding meal. The firm/meaty jumbo shrimp with a tangy cocktail sauce was amazing. The PEI mussels w/white wine and garlic broth appetizer was excellent. The steak salerno w/butter sauce was very good. he Cioppino and Shrimp Scampi entrees were great. Everyone loved the house made white chocolate cheesecake. Its the best we've had in DFW. Our server Ty and his assistant Alyse provided friendly, informed and well timed service. We would definitely return to try more dishes.
Outstanding menu for restaurant week
Food very good. Service lacking. Server was way off. Everything we asked for, we asked several times as he forgot.
It was a wonderful dinner The only problem was the manager working did not come to our table and ask how our meal was and thank us for coming in. That little personal touch that a restaurant of this caliber should do. He only talked to the regulars
The food was absolutely amazing and we were not rushed through our dinner which made it for a very nice experience.
Our first scheduled dinner for Restaurant Week, what a great start. The service was fantastic, everyone was friendly and they were quick to clear plates and refresh their delicious warm bread! The food was outstanding, nicely seasoned, nothing overly salted or anything. We started with duck appetizer with delicious cherry sauce, a duck crepe and a side of jicama slaw, yummy, every bite. One of us had sea bass and two of us had sirloin served with roasted asparagus and a potato croquette. We were all thrilled. I had their specialty, strawberry pie for dessert, this is a canât miss dessert, much like a cobbler with a crust and a garnish of fresh strawberries, whipped cream and a strawberry purée, Iâll be dreaming about this. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The only negative comment I have is the glass of water they brought, it had a taste, fishy would best describe it, probably tap water so one sip was enough for me. Thatâs a small correctable negative and the only one. A slice of lemon in it may have helped.
Had a reservation at 7:00 and was finally seated after 7:30. No space for waiting and the staff was doing their best to get everyone seated for reservations. Food was a little slower than normal with appetizers taking approximately 30 minutes- salads 20min itâs and dinner another 30 minutes.
one of our favorites - continues to exceed our expectations
Fantastic again!! Love this place. Morris is the best chef on the planet. Eddie is a great waiter. This is one of the finest restaurants in the DFW metroplex.
We have come here several times and always have a great time. The food is awesome and the service never disappoints. Wine list is just the right size and we love all the dessert choices!
