Food was good, experience was better. Pretty darn good welcoming and we happened to go on a Sunday. Kids eat free there with a purchase of an adult meal. Great option if you're in the area. If not and want to have a good BBQ experience this is worth it. The brisket is good but lacks a bit of salt but that's why they serve it with bbq sauce. Turkey was delicious.
This place is a hidden jewel. Been back 3 times now. Ribs melt in your mouth, fall off the bone. Try the spicy beans, they are the bomb. Great service.Can't say enough good stuff. Just really great food and great service.
First time there, got in for a late dinner & i was very surprise. Employees greeted us as we walked in, food was good, lots of choices of sides, oh my.
Whether you're a Texan or not, who doesn't love good barbecue? This restaurant is worth a visit. Because the small business is tucked away in a shopping center, it can easily be overlooked. However, it's worth searching them out. The walk up "order from the wall style menu" offers combo meals, sandwiches, loaded brisket bake potatoes, and many other items. The brisket potato was a HUGH hit with one of my friends. The combo meal of brisket and sausage with the self served jalapeno pinto beans and coleslaw that I selected was very good. The atmosphere is pleasant and family friendly. The price point is good.
This was some of the best BBQ I've had in a while. The brisket and pulled pork were both very tender, the Mac and cheese exquisite, and the peach cobbler was delightful. 10/10 I will be coming back here again.
BBQ was very tasty, well smoked, well seasoned, and ribs were fall off the bone. The brisket was very dry however. I had the pork, ribs, and brisket with two sides.Coleslaw, like nearly every BBQ place I’ve tried was needing of salt and pepper.Mac and cheese was flavorful with some garlic and onion notes which I’ve found to be uncommon. The food was fresh and hot even on a slow day.Service is friendly and atmosphere is a great hole in the wall feel.Will definitely come back with a more well-rounded review.
Driving home and wanted some dinner… I saw this place and decided to give it a try! Walked in and was greeted immediately, the food looked fresh and it smelled absolutely amazing. I got everything to go and it hit the spot! Will definitely be back to try the rest out
I love the exterior look and old town feel of this place! Brings me back to my days going up in Lewisville. The brisket is lean and melts in your mouth!!!! Potato salad had more mustard that I personally prefer but I came for the barbecue! ? Jalapeño beans are full of spice with a good kick! If your in the area and are craving a carnivore meal! You gotta stop and eat here!
At the first moment you arrive in this restaurant the personel give you an enjoyable feeling. Very warm waiters, it is a happy place to pass time with friends and colleagues or with your date. delicious meals, talented chef de cuisine, competitive cost and nice service. Warmly recommended.
Absolutely love this bbq place!! The staff is so friendly and always remembers you. The food is great and is our number one pick whenever we want bbq!! And free ice cream!!
