6/1: Ordered online and arrived 4 minutes late to the store. Did not realize they closed at 8. The door was open and lights were on. A girl (brunette, young, baby-faced) saw me walk in and walked straight to the back, looked back at me and laughed. Rude. She told a young boy to talk to me. He was very polite. I told him I was here to pick up my order. He said they didn’t have an order for me, but he would try to refund my credit card. I asked if they don’t make the orders until the person arrives (this is the second time that has happened to me, although the first time was in the middle of the day.) He said no but that someone probably threw out the order so it wouldn’t get left behind in the fridge. I am not sure why they can’t wait five minutes for people to pick up their food. I get that it was technically closed but it seems there should be a buffer. The way the girl laughed at me when I walked in makes me think she just threw out my order. It would be fine if they were respectful about it, but instead I feel uncomfortable now. Giving 2 stars because at least the boy showed some maturity.
every time i order a peanut paradise smoothie on doordash i am disappointed. my smoothie is NEVER fully blended. i'm literally chewing on chunks of ice and chunks of bananas it's disgusting. half the time i cant even drink it thru the straw because it's so chunky. i shouldn't have to blend my smoothie myself every time i order it. before i even start drinking the smoothie i can look at it and see that's it's chunky. i don't know who is making the smoothie and looks at it and thinks "oh yeah this is blended". i shouldn't have to call the store and ask them to make sure my smoothie is blended every time i order one.
Stopped in on several occasions, the food is great. We especially enjoy the various smoothies. However, the downfall is that they aren't very friendly.
I went there for quick and filling dinner. I’ve gone there before many years ago and the food was decent as well as the smoothies. Sadly when it came to cleanliness they weren’t to good. Now that I went back recently it seems that they have things more put together. I got a Cajun shrimp wrap that was a very decent size for the price. As well I got a smoothie (island detox). The wrap was very filling and not bland at all with cheese,rice and some sort of sauce. The smoothie was nice and refreshing for the warmer day we were having! I was also surprised to see that this time they were wearing gloves and a mask! Not to mention not sneezing on my food and smoothies!
I love this restaurant. I get the PB&Banana panini and the Bahama Mama smoothie most of the time. It is filling, fresh, and delicious. Highly recommend if you want something light and refreshing. The hummus wrap is also a big winner.
I frequently order lunch here and always get their sunrise sunset and chipotle chicken club sandwich. I’ve always been satisfied with the service I’ve received and the employees are incredibly friendly.
Had the veggie hummus wrap and a detox smoothie. They were both delicious. I loved the spicy ginger aftertaste of the smoothie and it was only 180 calories. Ate half of the wrap and I'm very full. My husband loved it as well. Will definitely be going back!!
Always a nice little place for lunch! The drinks are great and Kaiden is always so nice and patient. Could tell he really busts his butt there juggling so many orders and still maintain good customer service.
The last two times we have gone, they have forgot to put the jerk sauce in the Caribbean Jerk Chicken. The wraps that use to be tight and held together look like slop on a plate. I keep thinking it’s got to get better, but it hasn’t. There have been several other instances where they had given us the wrong food and even placed the right sticker on the wrong food, just made the completely wrong wrap or the chicken has come out ice cold. I would like to say that they are just busy, but they aren’t, it’s a lack of effort and care. The smoothies are always delicious and consistent but I don’t always just go there for a smoothie. My bf has even commented about the quality lately. It looks like we all will be searching for another place instead.
I loved my salad, prices were fair, and the location is very clean. Not really impressed with the service, the music (or volume) playing and the vulgarity. Just my two cents. I will definitely go back, just won’t spend my time eating in.
