We were rudely ignored by young hostesses upon arrival. When she got around to talking to us, there were no welcoming words. She only asked if we had reservations. I said, "I didn't know that was a thing.". She rudely replied, "It's always been a thing.". I was stunned. Needless to say, we left. I've lived in the area for over 15 years and have visited this restaurant many times without reservationsI've never been treated like that. We will not return.

I just picked up 3 pizzas, fried mozzarella and what I thought was insalante pomodoro di mar. I got back to our room to find out it was pasta fruit di mar and we alao had no silverware to eat it. My wife can't have pasta so I called, spoke to the manager.(Shane) He not only apologized and took responsibility for the mixup, he also had the right dish delivered as well. We're human, we make mistakes and even though we had an issue with our order, the food was delicious and the correction secured the fifth star.We don't come to this area often as we live in Deer Park but if we do we will definitely be going back to Pomodoro'sP.S. When I walked in to pick up the food, I wished we were eating there instead of taking out. The place smelled AMAZING!!!!

I went here for a late lunch around 3:30pm and was the only diner in the restaurant. The garlic bread is delicious and comes free with your order. I had the alfredo sauce with tortellini and I was very pleased. The sauce is thick and clearly full of cheese, not like the watery type that you get at most Italian restaurants in the area. They also make their tiramisu in house and it’s delicious—not overly sweet and with a pleasant texture.

First time here & loved it. The food, the service, & the drinks were wonderful. We'll definitely be back.Thank you Trey for your excellent service.

I went in a couple of weeks ago and had the Shrimp Fettuccini Alfredo, it was so good I pulled the waiter over and said so. Apparently sauces, at least that one, are not made until you order the dish. I didn't post about it just thought it was really good.Went back yesterday and bought their pizza's for my office staff and a couple of salads. Brooklyn style crust pizza's were crazy good, salads too.I don't know what's happened in the food business, but it's hard to find a place that can cook without throwing a boil bag in some hot water. This place rocks.

Read the reviews and went one evening only to find out you must have reservations. So we made reservations for the following weekend, thinking it must be a great place to eat. The service was good and the restaurant is very clean and has a very warm inviting atmosphere, but the food is not that good. My husband got a small the works pizza in their regular crust. It had lots of topping, but the crust was hard, the sauce and cheese was non existent . He did not like it at all. I got the eggplant parmesan It was OK, but no cheese, and the sauce was not very flavorful . Again maybe it is not to my tastes, as just like any type of food, people like it different ways and with different spices. We will not go back, as neither one of us liked the flavor of the food at this Italian restaurant. But service was great and the place was packed, so some people like it very much. Lots of regular customers were there there that night.

Voted “Best Italian” in League City! You can tell why the moment you walk in!!! Warm atmosphere, friendly host, and THE SMELL!!! Let me tell you about the SMELL!!! order to go wasent made correct and didnt revive what we did order had to go back and very over priced for what you get

The manager was absolutely amazing and the menu looked brilliant. We were there for 40 minutes, sat at the table for 30 minutes and we were completely ignored the whole time. Makes me sad, I would have loved to try this place.Edit: I sent the email, much like the service then reply was non existent.

I love Italian food, its probably one of my favorites. Previously I've been pretty loyal to Frenchies but I recently didn't have the best visit there which was disappointing so for my father in laws birthday we decided to come here because he said he likes Pomodoros better. I will say, just upon walking in, it was beautiful, comfortable, welcoming. There was a nice little conversation/ waiting area and bar, it may sound weird but lighting has a bit of influence on how much I like/dislike a place. I like when a business can create a kind of cozy but still elegant-ish feel and from that to the decor this place just nailed it. Now, to what really matters, the food! My husband got shrimp, they were huge and delicious and came stuffed with cheese and in a red sauce and wow, bravo ? I got chicken and pasta with a garlic, lemon butter sauce that was light and fragrant and delicious. My son got gnocchi but I can't remember what sauce, it was also wonderful. He and I shared because he really loved mine and I can never pass up gnocchi. This is a great little spot and we are already planning our next dinner here.
