Went here yesterday and when you walk in, it’s return of the living dead. No one greets you, the servers looking like your nothing them… they had a box gloves on the counter and I guess there for decoration cause not one of them put on any to mix or serve the ice cream. The young gentleman yawned on his hand and continued to fix someone’s ice cream without washing his hands. This place is in so many health code violations it’s crazy, but whoever the manager is seems to be fine with this and owner to. Won’t be going back to this one for sure.
I went to this ice cream store today, Thursday at 8:30 pm and I had a bad experience with the server. The schedule says that they close at 10pm but they had cleared the tables. When I took one of the chairs to sit down the server told me with attitude that I have to go and sit outside because she was alone and had already cleaned. I told her that was not the way to talk to a client and she start to argue with me saying that she did not have employees, that she had her children at home and she could not continue cleaning. I told her that was not my fault that she should speak with the manager and, for my surprise, that disrespectful person told me that she was the manager. I can’t explain how people like that are managers. Finally I am paying part of your salary. If you can’t deal with people close your store, stay at home with your kids and don’t try to make others responsables of your problemas.
I was disappointed in the flavor of my ice cream and it had ice crystals in it. The staff was friendly and helpful, however. Probably, if I had complained, they'd have offered me another choice
Didn’t offer to mix in any toppings to my ice cream. Thought this place was famous for its marble slab where they mix ice cream and toppings
No high chairs or booster seat for kiddo. Blueberries are frozen vs fresh.
Too expensive and not your blue bell
All my cookie cakes for birthdays and graduation are ordered at the FM 646 League City, Texas location. I will NEVER step a foot into this business again as the worker Sneha is rude. Placed an order for a birthday cookie cake last Sunday as she was told to do the biggest circle cookie cake size she can do and when I picked up the order it was a rectangular cake. On top of it, I showed her an image when I placed the order to tell her how I would like some extra icing on the cake, but I WILL show her the day I pick it up and she states, "Okay." and writes it down on her order slip. When I came in to pick up the cake and told her where I needed the extra icing, she kept eyeing me down and looked at me rudely as I stayed nice. After she finished, I told her she needs to lose her attitude and she acted like she did not do anything wrong and said she won't lose her attitude because I should of told her about the extra icing, WHICH I DID tell her the day I placed the order. She has horrible work ethic and etiqette. Definitely I will NOT place my cake orders here and take my business elsewhere.
I love their cookie slices and the chocolate swiss ice cream with mini M&M's!!? ??? Best place for a sweet treat!!
It had been a long day and I was looking forward to some Marble Slab on the way home. As more than one other reviewer said, as soon as I walked in the door, dirty water and cleaning products were the first things that I smelled. I walked up to the counter and noticed the woman was cleaning the stainless doors under the counter on the back wall. She mumbled something over her shoulder and kept cleaning. I stood there so long that I thought maybe she said "we're closed" and I just didn't hear her or something. After waiting close to 5 minutes for her to stop what she was doing, she finally turned around and asked "what do you want" without ever making eye contact. I told her that I was torn between cheesecake and sweet cream and asked if I could please try the sweet cream. She told me that they don't offer samples. Since when does Marble Slab not offer samples? I told her that we've been coming there since it opened and have always gotten samples. She responded back "well I've been here since the beginning and we've never given samples". I decided to go ahead and get the sweet cream and the flavor that my wife wanted. Once she finished making our cones I realized that she had never washed her hands after cleaning. She quickly threw themtogether, including packing excess ice cream on the outside of the cone. She actually made mine with a broken cone. It was still 30 minutes until closing, but it was very obvious that she wanted me gone so she could finish cleaning and go home. She carried on a conversation with her coworker in a foreign language for much longer than any communication with me, which was extremely rude. There are other places to get ice cream, and another Marble Slab not too terribly far away where the service is MUCH better.I will never step foot in this location again, and would strongly suggest that others do the same. We work hard for our money. We need to spend it with a business that cares about us as customers.
