We had a beach themed wedding in Galveston, Tx. I was up and down about the design. We knew right away we wanted a lactose free top tier and they came through. Our cake was absolutely stunning and delicious. We had 3 tiers of Pineapple/cream cheese, Strawberry/cream cheese and carrot cake/cream cheese frosting. The design was exactly how I envisioned it. Only thing I had an issue with was that the ladies who delivered it didn’t say one word to me. I as well as my 3 daughters were there setting up the dining room. We didn’t get even as much as a hello. Not sure why, but it would’ve been nice to be spoken to. Even if they did just think we were members of the wait staff.
My son’s graduation cake came out exactly as I requested and was absolutely delicious!!! Also, they were very easy to communicate and place my order with. Very helpful and friendly. Will definitely order from again!
I ordered a cake from Cakes by Jula for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. My brother picked up the cake, but part of the icing had fallen off when he arrived to his hotel. Gotta love the hot summer days! Jula went above and beyond and drove to his hotel room to fix the cake just in time for their celebration. Thank you Jula for saving the day! Not only was the cake beautiful, but it tasted amazing as well. :)
Cakes by Jula made my March wedding cake. It was very easy to call and make an appointment with Jula at her shop. We went and were able to taste test our top 5 cake flavors and fillings. I described what I wanted the cake to look like and she sketched it out. She was able to make my vision come to life. I was expecting a lot of cake left over due to 60% guest attendance, but so many people had second helpings. Everyone loved the look and flavor! I highly recommend Cakes by Jula.
Cakes by Jula did our wedding cakes and WOW! So delicious! They were also amazing to work with, didn't even blink an eye when we decided to change all of our flavors two weeks after putting in our order. The cakes turned out beautifully, and we couldn't be happier with the results.
My husband and I had our wedding at the Butlers Courtyard, and they had Cakes By Jula make our wedding and grooms cake. We were not disappointed! I didn’t know what I wanted, but the entire team was so sweet and sat down with me and my husband to brainstorm ideas. We ended up asking for a groomsman cake of our dog! Everything was beautiful and the cake was ABSOLUTELY delicious… I’m actually craving their pink champagne flavor right now?
For our wedding, we had a design in mind that was not very traditional. Jula and her team executed it perfectly. Our wedding cake and groom's cake were exactly how we envisioned them - absolutely beautiful work! AND THE CAKES WERE DELICIOUS! The strawberry groom's cake with cream cheese icing was such a huge hit that it was completely eaten! Luckily, we had a piece saved for us that we got to eat at the hotel and we were very happy that we did! My husband and I decided we will order cakes every anniversary as our new tradition!
The cake looked like how I wanted, That wasn’t the problem. The problem was customer service and the cake itself.When I ordered the cake. The young ladies that took my order were confused and nonchalant. I was explaining what I wanted and I just became kinda frustrated about the process of ordering. It just felt like they wouldn’t get the cake right even though I showed them a picture.On the day of pick up they forgot to put the toys on the cake that I dropped off. And on the day of the occasion the cake was dry, too much fondant on the cake and honestly it was just an okay cake. Paying the money that I paid I don’t just want an okay cake.
Stop and don’t look any further! Our sons cake and everything else came out so tasty and BEAUTIFUL ? Everyone could not stop raving about how delicious it all was! Seriously the work they did made the whole birthday party!! I actually dropped the smash cake before the party and still looked pretty good. Quality work, thank you guys so much, we loved it!
My wedding cake was absolutely perfect and beautiful! I was so worried because I had a very specific vision in mind. Jula did a wonderful job and I am still in love with my cake!
