I went in around 12:30 on a Saturday night and it was crazy in there. Being the only place opened 24 hrs and a night club across the street, it brings in a bunch of people. Nothing to brag about the food, it did the job , but it took me almost two hours to get my food. Was very frustrating. I'm from Houston and the Mexican food over here is more authentic and tastes a whole lot better than what you get across the border in Laredo. Stop doing TexMex BS and make real good Mexican food !!! It's all Mexicans down there so why do TexMex ???
This place is definitely consistent in always letting me down. I don’t know why I keep going back, hoping for a satisfactory experience. Whether it’s a 15+ minute wait time at the drive through for ONE quesadilla, getting charged for an item and not receiving it, or just plain out giving me disappointing product. TP is definitely NOT what it used to be. Nope..
Drive thru service is horrible. Food was cold and incorrect.
Very attentive service and you are treated as if at home. From the moment you walk in you are welcomed. Once you placed your order and you can ask if you want a regular tortilla or a crispy one, you have that option. Waitress bring your food and ask if anything else you need, we wanted more coffee or drink and they will refill it for you.
It took a total of 45 minutes to order and receive my food through the drive-thru. I usually order through the app but I had left my phone at home. When I paid for my order, which was just (5) breakfast tacos and two coffees, I was asked to park in the designated parking spot to wait for my order. Well, wait I did–exactly 21 minutes. It would have been longer if I hadn't inquired about my order with the employee that dropped off an order that was three times larger than mine to the vehicle next to me; which by the way came after me. The employee proceeded to take my receipt to retrieve my order. When she finally brought it out to me I asked why it took so long? She responded by saying that the orders are made as the come in through the register. If that was the case, then why did my order come out after the aforementioned?? They probably overlooked mine but if I hadn't asked, then I think I would still be waiting. I will always use the app from now on. #DoBetterPalenque
Food poisoning, the worst I have ever been in my whole life. I ordered the panchitos with avocado and I regret it so much. I haven’t even been able to eat for 2 days now because I am constantly in the restroom with diarrhea and constantly vomiting up fluids. The worst experience of my life and I will never recommend someone to go back there in my life.Update: had to go to the emergency clinic to get treated…. This is serious and I wouldn’t wish this upon my worst enemy.

This is what they give you when you ask for a menudo bowl. It looks more like a corn in the cup. I even had to ask the server for a bowl and all he stated was, “Sorry we ran out” like really what a shame on this restaurant. I guess next time I will be getting menudo served on a cup. Furthermore, they had the salad bar badly unattended no salsas what so ever.
Really good food but it's really expensive now, but I'm pretty sure it's cuz the price of meat has gone up
Waited 25 minutes for two plates of pastor. Got enough meat to make barely one taco per plate and it was cold. Was full of just onions and lettuce, will never go back to Taco Palenque. They used to be good. Not anymore.
