Great Food! Friendly Service!! ??

Great Ramen place, as starter we got the Pork Rangoons which taste great (although they have just a little of the filling but it's ok if you're going for a full ramen). As per the ramens, we ordered the Spicy Miyagi (which I do not recommend if you're not into Spicy food) as well as the Buddha one (vegan) and both were extremely good. The broth was flavorful in the two of them, also the portions were big (we went for the full dish). Love the fact that you can order either half dish or full one. The place is not so big but they have a few tables to dine in. I highly recommend this place, it's one of the best ramen places I've tried in Laredo.

Best ramen I’ve tried! I highly recommend this place. Definitely going back.

Noticed this was close to where I live. Decided to check it out. It was more lively than expected, very anime.Food is pricey, and it adds up very quick. If you don't follow their Facebook page, you'll miss out on any promos they might be having for any given day (and thus, miss out on cheaper deals). For the amount of food, the price seems a bit high. I'm fairly certain I pay [slightly] less at another, certain, noodle place in Laredo, and get the same amount I got here. It tastes about the same as the other place, but this one has a focused variety of ramen bowls; if that's more your speed, this might be the better pick.

Very flavorful and guy at front helped explain the menu!

Awesome food, great menu, excellent service

only giving this three stars because of the tasty Osaka fries and pork gyozas. I got the Gaijin and really wanted to like it but the broth and noodles itself had an odd flavor and I couldn't really enjoy it. I tasted the boiled egg and it literally tasted rotten and that flavor might've affected the rest of the soup. first timer and probably not coming again for the amount I paid.

Presentation and food combinations are nice and interesting. Flavor was sufficient. I'm very peculiar when it comes to eastern dishes as I've been around them my whole life. I like the modern domestic twist they add. It's actually good and if you want different, it's a must try, even if once. Pictured are the Osaka Fries and Gaijin ramen. The Osaka Fries were good but missed the asian zing. Was more a Texas barbecue taste. The Gaijin was actually tasty after the spice bomb was added. Although the Gaijin didn't state it contained lemon grass, I got a hint of it and I just don't like lemon grass. I just may want to try one more dish. Laredo definitely needs more authentic deep Eastern restaurants. So this was a nice outta the norm visit. And make sure your matcha drink isn't expired

Awesome service, a good menu full of flavor and great prices.I’ve been visiting Ramen Kai since day 1 and so far they seem to care about their customer service as it improved immediately. They didn’t have numbers and seemed a little confused but by day 2 they got it all together and it went by smooth, also, the manager comes out on every visit and asks how we’re doing with a great attitude. As far as the food I’ve tried their rice, 2 ramens and their fries and really like them all. Another plus of this restaurant is that they even offer take out. The only thing to keep in mind is that it doesn’t seem to have central air conditioning so in the hot days it does feel rather on the warm side but if you don’t mind it alike me then it is a great environment wether you’re a weeb or just a foodie.

This place is awesome! Best ramen around town. The staff is amazing too. They will have conversations with you like you’re family. Only bad thing is parking. DO NOT park at the laundry mat, you will get towed. They are looking for a bigger building to fix the problem. Love it!!
