Service was horrible. Took way too long to get our drink order (waters and lemonades). They didn't bring my son's drink until the order came out. Our server was switched 3 times. It was about an hour before our food came out. Servers never refilled our drinks. We also had to wait 45 min for a table on top of the hour for food. However, the food was good.

15 years ago it was pretty good. Today, wow! Got a ribeye steak that was thinner than two corn tortillas stacked on top of each other. Wife's gobernador tacos were cold and kinda slimy. And if I wanted my bacon wrapped shrimp burnt to a crisp and rolled in salt, I would have asked for it that way. All of this for $100. Never again. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

Aghhh - SMH - Locations differ more than I would of thought - mostly in the same town of Laredo. Was in town a few weeks ago for about two weeks working in Laredo - worker and I tried the one on IH35 (Laredo) - fantastic. From start to finish, was great. I bragged about how good everything was from the service to the food. This location at 7220 Bob Bullock Loop 20.#1 - server was short/curt. Seemed I was more of a problem seating alone.#2 - tortillas that come with red sauce - burnt.#3 - had the Mar y Tierra Classic - again the flour tortillas burnt. Steak was half the size of the location at IH35 (Laredo). She didn’t ask how to cook the meat - we’ll overcooked not good. Server again very short/curt.#4 - I laid the burnt (hard) tortillas that come with the chips/salsa on the table she took them - didn’t bring me back anymore.#5 - the dinner didn’t feel me up - not that much good food to eat.I’ve ordered the tres leches cake to go - hopefully will be good.I drove from Junction Texas to Laredo to perform more work for the city - I will return to the south side for the Palenque Grill. Was excited to get to eat the food - location was very disappointing. Now a little nervous to try other locations.I will not be returning to this location.Little info I arrived just before 8:00 pm on the 16th of March and sat next to the front entrance in the corner. This location closes at 9:00. A party of five came in at 8:40 and restaurant was about 40% full. The reason I say this is because I don’t want anyone to think I came in right before closing. Meal was $61.00 - without tip.

Our "starter" came a half hour after the entrees. It was a slow Sunday night. Clearly the kitchen was in trouble but we had no attention or explanation from our server, who simply stayed away. The pozole was good and the long-delayed ceviche was okay. Server brought two drinks when we ordered only one, and was surly about taking back the extra one. When the check came, it had an error in our favor which we pointed out. She was unappreciative. Good food, bad experience.

Beef was tough and overcooked, they also changed the pricing from the menu to my ticket. Service was lacking even though it was slow, overall bad experience. 19 dollars for 3 small tacos and some rice sounds reasonable, they charged me 29. Brought it up to the staff and they said all the pricing is wrong on their newly printed paper menus. Don't get scammed for subpar food just go somewhere else. The two restaurants on either side of it are way better on all points.

Food was good when we were finally served almost 2 hours later. I was disappointed that a Manager or Supervisor did not come out to apologize. We were a party of 12 and everybody got their food at different times. It wasn't just us. It happened to everyone there. They offered us a discount which consisted of 1 free lemonade refill. Not sure that we'll be back.

My wife and had dinner here since it was within walking distance of our hotel. Our steaks was great. The server did a great job.

Good food. They bring lots of the free chips n salsa and the chips are good. The salsa meh. The best dip is the refried bean n sausage imo. The beef fajita entre' I had: very tender well cooked meat, came with sauted onions, Pico de Gallo, guac and both flour and corn tortillas. Enough meat for 2 but not enough condiments at all for 2. The service was good. I had a flavored tea with the meal and that was all I had, no alcohol or desert. Ticket came to about $36, and with tip about $42. For some, that will be expensive I think. Value proposition? For me personally, probably not, at least on a regular basis. If I wanted to ensure a guest of mine had a good meal then it would definitely be a consideration.

It was nice being there after 3 years and they continue with friendly staff, great food.

$45 for two beers and four tacos!!! It wasn’t bad and the service was good BUT $45 IS $45 AND TACOS!!!!update to reply to Palenque: I didn't know about the salsa bar, so it seems the service wasn't good... took away a star.I think the proper way to enjoy this place is to get the food to go, pick up some beers on the way home, and don't leave a tip... then it's "only" $6-7per taco... which is still highway robbery if you're not starving.
