Came in for my birthday excited because they had served us the week before and the experience was amazing. Not this week. We walk in and they told us 30 minutes, which we were okay with at first. Over 30 minutes pass, with no call. We call for an update and someone else responds saying that it will be another 20 minutes! When we are ready to just call it a night, the person said that he thinks he saw someone getting the bill and we shouldn’t have to wait more than 10 minutes. Well at this point we’ve been waiting about an hour in the car and no communication at all. We called it for the night and there was no apology, nothing. The girl just said “oh okay” and hung up. The food is good, but not enough for an hour wait. The staff needs to learn to communicate accurately and learn to follow up with customers.
It was my first time here about 2 weeks ago. Ordered the middle eastern plate and was surprised you can get something like this in Laredo. I'd recommend that plate if you're familiar with that type of food or feeling adventurous. The whole ambience of the restaurant was really nice as well. Got there an hour before closing on a Sunday and got seated in 15 mins.
Service and food choices are amazing however as an avid Indian food enthusiast, you all missed the mark on the chicken naan. It didn’t really have that Indian taste nor feel… I would suggest to go back to the drawing board and try more Indian food such as chicken tiki masala or chicken makhni. Load the sandwich with more sauce to give it that extra flavor it needs! Love your restaurant, I will definitely be coming back again!
Let me just ask this...How many times have your happen to have had miscommunication issues with your server about your order? Probably more than just a handful of times, but it does happen. That's ok we all have our moments.That being said, we ordered the "Chicken Sandwich". Apparently, they have several different chicken sandwiches and they brought out what they thought I had asked for. Honest mistake for both parties right?Well, NOPE not at all! The sorry excuse of a manager said that its is clearly written on the menu and that it was still being charged on our tab!I asked why and he said cuz they had already brought it out.?My logic says if YOUR menu has SEVERAL DIFFERENT chicken sandwiches, Why aren't the servers trained to SIMPLY ask WHICH ONE?!The staff is poorly trained and the manager needs a new career. Not tactful at all, could not even articulate his words nor look me straight in the eye!I left them with their stupid sandwich and walked off.This has NEVER happened to me at ANY restaurant!
First time at Lolita’s, we are experienced diners from Houston, visiting family. Excellent diverse menu. Outstanding food…3-hour Beef short ribs, Cuban panini, beet carpaccio salad, and Abuelita chocolate cake, every bite off the charts. Excellent service. Warm, modern, ambience. Open a location in Houston, please!

We had a great lunch today at Lolita's Bistro with great food, great service, and great drinks. We are vegans traveling with others that eat a wider variety of food. All of us were incredibly happy with a great menu filled with wonderful options not typically found on Laredo menus. Congratulations to the owners, the chefs and cooks, bartenders, and wait staff. We had a wonderful lunch!
Food is awesome. Space is awesome. Waitress disappeared on us. But someone i believe to be the owner took care of us.
