Very disappointed in the steak considering it is one of their main dishes. My coworkers and I visited the Laredo location while in town for business. After a long day we waited over an hour for our food only for it to come out not as expected. The coworkers that ordered burgers were very satisfied with their meals however those who ordered steaks did not get them as intended. The medium done steaks were all very well done, not one line of pink was visible. And the medium rare was completely rare. I added shrimp and sautéed onions to mine as well. When my steak came out no mushrooms were present so it already had to be sent back once. Please let me add the waitress was very nice and trying to accommodate but we were also on a time crunch after waiting so long for the food to come out. The steak was very hard to cut, a joke was made that I was shaking the table, and the shrimp was undercooked and barely had any seasoning. I also paid for loaded mashed potatoes to which I had to request green onions and sour cream because they only came with bacon and a little bit of cheese. After the waitress asked to take the plates back we stated we did not have time, the manager came and offered us a 10% discount. However I paid $40 for steak and shrimp that I barely ate and got less than $4 taken off. We have teams working in Laredo often so it’s sad that we will not be recommending this restaurant for future visits.
I rated this 5 stars 3 years ago, and gotta drop it to 4. Easily could go back up if quality control was at its peak again. Steaks were good...not complaining about those; salad was not fresh...lettuce old with brown red edges...and nothing worse than getting silverware with rice stuck to it and plates with crumbs on it.Easily fixable things, but as restaurants continue to prosper in Laredo, it seems that the little things are overlooked. Keep it clean and keep it fresh.
Worked there for only 3 months but the managers were horrible and would make me work a lot of hours (not even my schedule sometimes) and would only get paid like 5$ the hour every week, we are supposed to share tips and a lot of people would kept it for themselves. Staff was ok. main problem was the managers. very unprofessional and yelled at me in front of the whole restaurant because they couldn't handle a busy night and i was back and fourth helping severs too ( to be helpful) and one manager yelled at me to stay put it one specific spot i couldn't not move from literally if i even stepped off that spot he would yell at me again (efrain) and the other manager told me that he wasn't the general manager and to not listen to him , so i followed his instructions then other manager (efrain) started yelling at me again. (mind you this was such a busy night!) looked so unprofessional. another incident was he would always get caught looking or flirting with the severs (only the pretty ones were his favorite, that's what everyone told me) . one time a manager told us to clean the girls restroom and he volunteered to do it ?? such a uncomfortable work environment. i immediately got a better job and quit then they come telling me they need me. nope! DONT RECOMMEND WORKING HERE.
Very disappointed with my order for pick up1st ordered the crispy bucket fried pickles jalapeños and onions they were totally cold and soggy2nd ordered the Road House Burger Didnt Have No Crispy onions nor mushrooms as advertised3rd the two burgers ordered were not cooked as requested4th Whoever the girl in front was she did not know what she was doing gave us bad serviceI was disappointed they did thisOh forgot and the ketchup lol
service was fabulous despite being in a rush!
It was long time since I ate here. I was craving the salmon. We ordered the salmon and fried steak. The salmon was not cooked. The fried steak was overcooked. The waitress seemed like a mood. We didn’t enjoy the food. The place seem dirty.
I had a wonderful steak dinner on my birthday. I've been traveling the country alone for over a year and I still had an amazing meal, a sweet bartender and even random other people that I got.to talk to for a while. My ribeye was cooked perfectly medium and my cinnamon apples were hotter than the sun like all apples tend to get even they are cooked.
Food was good. Love the rolls. Onion ring appetizer portion was a little skimpy for the price. Waitress was very attentive.
Been there yesterday. Wonderful service by Mary!!! Tanks for the wine!! Food was good, well cooked. Really enjoy our meal.
