I must say for the price you pay, I was not impressed. I ordered a very simple meatballs and spaghetti. Meatballs were store bought and noodles were soggy. The restaurant is filthy. Dust build up on ceiling fans and pipes. Seats have tears and most covered with duct tape. If you want to charge high dollar prices, I expect a high quality restaurant. Staff was great though. Just don’t feel prices match quality of food or appearance of restaurant.
This place keeps changing its name and making me all confused. I liked it like 3 years ago when they had happy hour with the bud lite draft at 2 dollars. The staff was great and the bar had the TV on and it actually looked like a bar. Now the bar is dead and no signs no TV. Most of the staff dont speak English at all. ( I mean how do u communicate when a customer doesn't speak Spanish ay all? ) just a thought. I went for the 2 for $25 Ribeye steaks and they were extremely thin. So order it rare if u really want it medium rare. The place just isn't the same any more. The menus are soo old and dirty.
Ordered a Mariscada for 4 people over the phone, which includes over about 15 LARGE fish filets, 15-20 large shrimp, 4 to 6 stuffed crab, 8 oysters, white rice, and a LARGE serving of curly fries.Upon my arrival, the manager showed me all the food in two HUGE platters. He and a waiter even helped me take the food to my car!!!EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS, and we had ALOT of leftovers too!!!They also included all the extras; picnic packs, tarter sauce, lemon, and cocktail sauce.La Roca ROCKS!!!!KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK LA ROCA AND STAFF!!!!
Wings were so small and very little for the price they charge. Children’s spaghetti with meatballs tasted very bad. Meatballs tasted like chewy plastic, I’d bet they were store bought, precooked and frozen. The pasta on the spaghetti tasted like the cheapest spaghetti sauce you can buy. Ordered 2 plates of the chicken cordon bleu, chicken was so small and the Alfredo pasta was extremely creamy, chunky, heavy, & greasy. I understand they prioritize on their seafood dishes, But if they are not going to put in any effort in the rest of the non seafood dishes they shouldn’t sell them. Very disappointed. $70 worth of food, we left it all there, nothing was even half way finished. Never again for my family.
Came here for lunch with some work colleague and ordered the oyster Rockefeller and the stuffed mushrooms. The food was subpar, but extremely cold. What really made my stomach turn was that a cockroach came out of nowhere and it honestly just made my stomach turn.
Ordered take out and the food was salty. Wasn’t enjoyable to eat :/. Overpriced nasty food.
I ordered food for delivery. Overall the food was a huge disappointment. The chicken parm was an insult to chicken parm, the shrimp tasted alright, and the salad came with the dressing already added to it, so the Lettuce was wilted upon arrival. Over all flavor of everything was subpar. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. 0 stars if it was an option.
Great food and a great atmosphere with beautiful music by super-!talented local balladeer Arnold Villamero!
Chicken Rockefeller was delicious! Food was brought out nice and hot, and staff was very attentive.
Dined at the San Bernardo location Sunday, 03 October 2021. Ordered blackened catfish, was served *fried* catfish. In order to eat my meal at the same time as my dining partner, I did not reject it and ate it --but it was TOUGH, like gnawing on a car tire. My dining partner ordered fried chicken strips, and there were enough of those things on her plate to have served an entire little league baseball team! Overall, the portions are large, the food is marginal, the staff is friendly though rather inefficient.
