The cutest little sandwich shop. Been there forever and the inside hasn't changed a bit, but the best part of their charm is you know what you are getting every time- consistency!Miss Anita is the sweetest character and will remember your face. While I was pregnant with the son I always asked for an extra pickle slice. 4 years later and every time I go in she throws an extra one in my bag and smiles.
My first time here. FANTASTIC customer service (other LP eateries should take note). Food is simple but delicious. I will probably be here several times a week. Very impressed!

Customer service is excellent. The menu items is GREAT! They are friendly, get to know their customers and call you by name. They environment is small but clean, friendly and a nice place to sit and eat with friends and family.
People were polite and nice. Large complaint with the fact that the sandwiches are made with off the shelf sunbeam bread.
How amazing to finding a fresh sandwich like this, right here in La Porte? I ordered the pimento and cheese large, sandwich only, fully dressed. The large is a “triple decker” with two layers of the filling.This was $8.61. The sandwich was a little runny- so I believe eating it right away made a difference in the taste. The taste of the lettuce, tomato, and pimento was fresh, simple, yummy goodness. I’m definitely coming back.

This is the Cheers of sandwich shops. The owner knows everyone's name, and nearly their orders too! Wonderful atmosphere, pretty good food. Love the homey feel you get when you're here. Great spot for a quick lunch.
