Food is loaded with flavor! I always order the chicken enchiladas and they taste sooo good! Only downside is, everytime I've been there I was never smiled at or greeted properly. It seems like the cashier, waitresses don't like being there. They even rarely look up to acknowledge you're there.
Was convenient to the Seton Hospital so I could grab a quick lunch when visiting a friend in the hospital. Had the beef enchiladas plate which was very good. They were accommodating to make my meal more lower carb by replacing beans and rice with grilled veggies like bell peppers and onions along with a salad and avocado.
While visiting daughter in ICU at Ascension Seton Hays Hospital, we got the munchies for a good taco. We Google Mexican Restaurants near me, and this little restaurant popped up. Let me tell you, for a little restaurant, it packs a Big Punch!! Tacos were spot on Delicious!!! Great homemade tortillas, food cooked to perfection, friendly staff, clean and well maintained and prices are very affordable, a definite must nowadays. I highly recommend visiting Tageuria Jaliscienses in the city of Kyle, TX, only three minutes away from Ascension Seton Hospital in Hays County!! Photo provided is only half of it, but I had to take the time to provide an excellent review for it! Enjoy! Thank you!
The food here is always perfect. Quick service, affordable, and the staff is friendly and attentive. One of my top favorite places in the area!
I got some tacos and a chicken quesodilla from here and it was excellent! The chicken was cooked with peppers and onions and had a wonderful flavor. The beans in the tacos were definitely house-made, I could taste what I think was a jalapeño flavor in them. The tortillas were marvelous as well, and they use real cheese.
My tortilla soup was good but didn’t come with rice and my order was to go. But my daughter gave me hers. My husband got carne asada plate. He loved it! I didn’t like the tortillas. Food was tasty.
You see in my photos perhaps the best breakfast tacos I’ve ever tasted in my 40 years of life in Texas. Flour/Egg/Chorizo/Nopal. Green sauce is the way and amazing on everything. The staff here is also super friendly and good. So glad I found this place, perfect for a stock up before physical therapy in Kyle.
1st time here. I ordered pickup -2 super burritos, 2 chimichangas, and 2 lemonades. I wanted to give an honest review about their meats. So, I ordered beef fajita, beef skirt steak, ground beef, and chicken. Best one surprisingly was the seasoned ground beef - it had flavor, the 2nd was the seasoned chicken- it had flavor- these were in the chimichanga plates- down fall 4 me was the canned nacho cheese they drenched it in- this was unnecessary. And this is not authentic to mexican culture. Not enough crunch of the flour tortilla to tell it was a chimichanga. The beans (canned) and rice were not the best, no flavor and it was dry. The beef fajita and skirt steak burritos were way too under seasoned. It needed limes and some seasoning. The avocado looked black and old. The salad if u can call it that sucked no flavor at all, just straight cut lettuce and a slice of tomatoe. No salt no lime, boring. Customer service was MEH. I entered the restaurant with out so much as a greeting. When I got to the cashier she only spoke spanish -&- was having a long conversation with a guy hanging out at the register in spanish (Guess was waiting 4 his order). She was stairing right at me while I walked in, but she kept speaking to the guy instead of asking me what I needed. Not very nice when u have a paying customer. Anyways I paid and went on my way. The experience and food wasn't the most fantastic. The large lemonade was on point but it had too much ice. I think i only got 10 sips then it was gone . Not the Best $50+ bucks I've spent. I've had better authentic mexican food then this place. This place is tex-mex with a dressing of a mexican city name on the front . Not the authentic Mexican flavors I know, just Americanized. People wouldn't know the difference if it smacked them in the face since this is the norm in America. Unflavorful food passing as mexican food. Nah never again Satan.
Great authentic Mexican food up and down the menu! If you want a crazy good omelette check this place out. The menudo is great too. I'll be back
I had the chicken tortilla soup. It was good made only with large pieces of chicken and fried tortillas strips no rice like most places. It was a cold day and it hit the spot.
