I rarely put a bad review here but this one takes the cake. It was over the weekend about 4:45pm we had ordered on the app and it took our order said it would be ready in 20min. so I went to go pick it up and I'm about 5min out from the Subway Shop my wife calls me and tells me that they are closed at 5:00pm. So she calls the shop and talks to the guy there at the store and explains everything that we had ordered on the app and it accepted the order and that I would be there shortly to pick it up and he said that he would be closed. Myself and another lady had showed up to pick up our orders and the guy had already shutdown and was cleaning up a little after 5pm. I totally understand about being understaffed but I also understand that bringing in as much money as I can in a day that is probably a big money day projection and getting a close to that number as I can. Whatever happened to customer satisfaction, appreciation. We went over to the Subway in Walmart and they had 1 person running the shop and he made it happen. The best business is the business that has happy customers that keep coming back and recommending them to their family and friends. We had recieved a notification saying that our order was canceled after I showed up and so did the lady. What kind of business is that? Not a good one. ? the reviews say a lot. I hope they get it together, but I'll be going to the Walmart Subway from now on. As I stated above I rarely put negative reviews on here.
Very poor customer service. All three employees looked miserable working there. If you don't like your job, find somewhere else to work. It's an employee's market right now, not like before. They apparently don't carry veggie patties at this location, so that's super inconvenient for a vegetarian like myself. They gave me the last little bits of cheese left in the container instead of just refilling it. I asked for avocado and two employees just pointed to a sign typed on a white piece of paper at the end of the counter that says "Ask for avocado first before veggies." How is that useful if it's at the end closest to the register when you've already asked for all of the your veggies? This place seriously needs new management or better training.
Great sandwiches, good kids. It's unfortunate they have such entitled customers that blame them for things that are out of their control such as distributor shortages or no staff on hand. I see alot of the same people come in often and they get along well with the employees.
This has got to be the worst subway I’ve ever been to. And I used to be a store manager for subway about 5 years ago. They are always out of food, and the manager kid is always in a horrible mood. There will be 10 guests waiting in line and the manager will wait in the back so he doesn’t have to work. He throws pans, clicks his tongue, rolls his eyes, and acts like working at subway is the hardest thing in the world. I’m honestly surprised no one has attacked him for how rude he is, and I’m even more surprised he has a job. All the employees, girl with braids, and the two boys who work are some of the worst employees I’ve ever encountered. This location needs serious help. I get that covid impacted things and there’s a worker shortage but cmon now. There is no dress code anymore, the kids don’t wash their hands, they throw things around, and they make us all feel bad for being customers. The only thing good about this place is that it’s right next to HEB. The girl who dyes her hair is also nice, she’s not included in this complaint. The picture shows my sandwich. For the 3rd time they were out of jalapeños, banana peppers, and black olives. I asked for ranch and the kid with the glasses was too busy complaining about corporate that he forgot my ranch as well. Honestly embarrassing. IF THESE KIDS THINK THIS IS HARD, stay home and cry yourself to sleep because you won’t make it in this world. Thanks for reading.
The three employees working there were attentive & courteous…my sandwich was made exactly as I asked…including the two customers ahead of me…
First their Attitudes, why work if you are not ready to prepare for the customer! And the way they make your sub is at times a rip off. They only put 3 cheeses on a footlong. I understand they are light staff, but their attitudes are the worst especially one girl with a bandana and braid locks!
This is a okay subway. I guess they don’t do anything wrong. They just don’t standout either. Very clean. They treat customer very friendly.
We went to Subway in Kyle, TX this evening to order a 12 inch veggie sub for my daughter. The manager locked the door when he saw us coming. He said that they were closed because the entire staff quit. After a conversation with him about why he wouldn't make us the sandwich, he told us that he would rather people make their own sandwiches at home so he would not have to be there. The manager's name is Richard. We won't be going back to that subway again. I don't recommend this place to anyone. They have been having staffing issues for over a year. Perhaps they should replace management.
Meet my wife and kids enjoy eating subways Subway. Staff was friendly and helpful ?
This location is filthy. All tables are dirty, ac dripping on table, workers do not keep the line stocked. Worker does not change gloves after handling money. No water cups available for customers.Poor management at this subway. Who ever is the general manager for this store needs to conduct some much needed training and inspection. I am appalled by the state of this subway.UPDATE: I ordered a chicken bacon ranch and it came out of the toaster still frozen. General Manager contacted me four days after I submitted a complaint and asked me to bring my sandwich in for a refund. I asked her if she thought this was a reasonable request and she quit replying. This Subway and the management is laughable. Spend your money elsewhere.
