Mixed experience today at the JuneTeenth celebration at Huston-Tillotson. The Voodoo Rice was very good and the servers were generous in allowing me to order a lemonade once my order was ready. The primary issue I had was waiting 25-30 minutes for my food to be ready in the 95 degree heat (just moved to Texas from Delaware). Hopefully, this will improve the next time HurryBack decides to have a food truck at an event!
Just had HurryBack for the first time of many more times!!! We had the shrimp PoBoy, Voodoo Catfish, Shrimp and Grits, and Boudin balls. Everything was on point and tasted very fresh. Mama definitely put a lot of love into it!!!
I "finally" got to try Hurry Back and let me tell you it is a must !!! The food was amazing... big portions cooked to perfection. Great hospitality and great food ! I WILL be Hurrying Back ?
I've passed this place several times in the past and decided to stop by today. I ordered the Voodoo Catfish and added a side of fries. I love seafood and have eaten seafood East Coast, West Coast, Louisiana, Cancun, Acapulco etc etc and let me tell you this was the best tasting catfish I have ever had. Awesome food!!! My family and I will definitely be back.

I got the voodoo catfish. Couldn't wait to bring it home. It did not disappoint. It seemed a little bit pricey but it's enough for two people or one hungry Cajun. Catfish is cooked just right, nice and flaky and the shrimp and gravy on top is amazing. It may have a bit to much sodium for anyone sensitive to it. But I will definitely be back for this one and to try their other menu items!
The food provided for our party last weekend was a huge success! We ordered all three kinds of lasagna, vegetable tray, fruit tray and cheese with cracker tray. Everyone raved about it and wanted to know where it came from. Thank you for your professionalism and your absolute talent with cooking!
