Fantastic service and food!!
Interesting selection of drinks to choose from.. you got beers all the way to mead! I got a grapefruit drink last time (cannot remember the name of it) that was delicious.Great pizza, plenty of dining space, and very clean.Love the meat lovers pizza, and the salad bowl I got recently was amazing! If I had to say anything, I wish the drink cups were bigger. That's it.Stay awesome Aviators!
Just want to give a compliment to Victor. I’m 33w pregnant and ordered a pizza online thinking they still offered curbside pickup. I have my 2yo and 4yo in tow. Upon arrival I called and spoke to Victor and he advised me they no longer offed curbside. I explained I had my kids with me and I’d be in, in a moment to grab it and could he make sure to have it ready. Anyone who’s been pregnant with young kids knows it’s no small feat to get them in and out of their car seats especially when it’s 100 degrees outside. Victor said not to worry about it and ran it out to me. Victor is my hero and deserves recognition for his outstanding customer service!
The pizza is great!! The atmosphere is great too!!
Ordered the margherita pizza. It arrived hot and looked appetizing. That’s about where my good experience ended. The pizza itself was incredibly bland. The cheese was… there. The tomatoes and basil were very tasty, however, the crust and sauce were lacking any semblance of seasoning, like the chef was allergic to the spice cabinet. I’m giving it two stars for their quick prep time and they can clearly make it LOOK tasty, but need to figure out the flavor piece.
Super awesome pizza, and the beer was delish, if you like blonde beers, I highly recommend the wondering blonde.(it's in my top 5 favorite summer time beers)
I come here often because I live right around the corner and let me tell you, I don’t get bored of it. The pizza is always great and the goat cheese is wonderful. The crust is fluffy and not hard. The atmosphere and beer selection is on par. Great customer service. Outdoor seating is great on a good day.
Great pizza and solid beer selection. Service was a C- the night we visited but we will definitely be back regardless.
Fantastic! I had a couple leftover slices a few months ago at my sister's house in Austin. So today we met up and I drove from San Antonio just to get the pizza! And it was worth it!
Before listing the aspects of Aviator Pizza in Kyle, we need to clarify something. The food and beer were indescribably perfect. In these days of almost post-Covid, finding motivated employees can be a risky challenge. The employee manning the taps and check out register was an unhappy person, not well suited to dealing with the public. She was curt, rude and distant. Uninterested in any aspect of making customers feel welcome. Now, on to the victuals!Aviator has a hell of a beer list, close to 40 beers on tap. The broad selection is guaranteed to have something for everyone. We tried a hazy IPA (Lone Pint) that was new to us. Delicious. Tried a few others on the way to picking that one. Most really good.We ordered the "Flying Garlic" pizza. While no one would want to get within 6' of our mouths for the next few hours, it was crazy good,Aviator's crust is almost pastry-like. Sweet and buttery, light as air.We figured there must have been at least three/four heads of roasted garlic on one large pie.Pizza is ubiquitous. There's almost no such thing as bad pizza anymore, but Aviator's products is absolutely top shelf. Think Jaguar or Tom Brady. We are from a couple thousand miles away but anytime we're in central Texas (and that will be more often now) we'll visit Aviator.Next time we're sure that happier staff will be on duty.
