Pretty disappointing. Food had little flavor, and seemed like poor quality. Would have been better of microwaving some canned refried beans and nacho cheese, since that was obviously most of what made up the meal. Service was fine, but understaffed and overwhelmed (though only a handful of customers were there). Two of three orders came out wrong. It's not a taste of Mexico, it's a taste of cheap Texas. Not worth a visit in any respect.
Not enough food in my tacos!I’ve always bought breakfast tacos at this location, whenever heading out of town through this direction. However, this past Saturday that I bought the usual tacos to eat further away on my route, noticed that they only put in just a little egg and bacon content! It felt like eating flour tortilla for breakfast; what a shame!!I feel like I will need to find another place to get my “getting-out-of-town” breakfast!!!
Order was partially ready when we got there. I ordered a box of 12 breakfast tacos with 2 salsas, large chips and queso and 2 orange juice. They were out of orange juice, offered fountain drinks. Only had powerade or fruit punch available. Didn't give me my salsas, proceeded to send my husband back with 4 tiny containers of it when I ordered the 8oz ones. Sent him back in for the 4th time to make them get it right. The only saving grace was that the tacos were good. We won't be going back.
Ridiculous service. Wait time is more than 30 min. Got margaritas just to be told there is no lime flavor at the window. Portion is horrible in ALL plates I ordered. Nachos are prove of it. Got a steak fajita plate with no guacamole, literally stips of lettuce, and just a little pinch of meat i. the tacos. Will not come back again!
I got sick from the cheese enchiladas I ordered. My dog likes to beg for what I eat. I also gave her some. She and I both were up Friday . I love Taco Cabana but it may be a while before I go back. I hope you understand
They don't answer the phone for curbside orders. Absolutely, no management present. Forgot several items on order. We will NEVER go back to this loaction.
Got a couple of tacos. Food was hot and veggies fresh. A repeat visit, first time this location. They are consistent.
Really good food as always! Sadly, their staffing has taken a huge hit and they are working a skeleton crew of one or two employees. Menu has been cut back drastically and the beef fajitas fall just a bit short as they are no longer true fajitas. Bean and cheese tacos are still awesome and beat everyone else hands down. Stop by and give them a try, would definitely recommend them for lunch or breakfast!
What has happened to this place?! Taco Cabana used to have great food! After my experience today…I just don’t think they can blame COVID for going so far downhill. Everything I ordered this morning was completely cold, everything…aside from that, it tasted so bland I couldn’t eat any of it anyways… the beans, tortillas, eggs, all cold like they had been cooked over an hour ago and were sitting under a heat lamp…and my fajita taco had a whopping two slices of steak (which is all I was able to eat, two small slices of cold meat)…all of which I paid over $10.00 for?! Never wasting my time with any Taco Cabana again, they are ALL gross like this!
Sucks! Steak is ALWAYS HARD AS a piece of rubber! But the workers are usually pretty good!
