I love smallcakes. My favorite is the wedding cake flavor! So much so that I get it every year for my son’s birthday cake. Here is one this location made. The cakes are affordable because they are made with icing not fondant, so just keep that in mind. I purchased the cake, cake balls, and the cupcakes from there to match my son’s skateboard theme. All the cupcake toppers and cake topper came from an etsy shop.
If like cupcakes this place is a must try. The staff was very friendly. They have keto options for those who are diabetic or just trying to stay low carb.
I’m not sure if it’s because there was a party in progress or because it was midday, but there weren’t as many cupcakes available as I would have expected. We did manage to find a couple of things that sounded and looked appealing. My first disappointment was that the striped straw on mine was paper. I used to have my own cake business and consider it a decorating fail to include inedible decorations. That should have been white chocolate. The frosting was the only part of the cupcake where I detected any flavors, but it didn’t stand out due to what tasted and felt like an excessively high shortening ratio in their recipe. The cake was moist, but downright boring. No filling, no special flavoring…just blah. I hate it when you order a fun sounding flavor just to wind up with glorified yellow cake. I know it’s a franchise and the store is just peddling the chain’s stock recipes, so it’s not like the owner is giving us something personal they concocted. Oh well, we gave it a try.
I love that they have keto friendly options here. I had the keto friendly vanilla cupcake and the keto friendly cheese cake. Both were fantastic.

I just got a Wedding cupcake . And it was the BEST Wedding Cupcake i ever had. So delicious so moist so delicious the best cupcake in years. Oh my goodness delicious delicious delicious ????
Was looking for a white cake with cream cheese frosting asap .went to HEB an krogers had no luck unless i put in special order to receive it after 24hrs.called this place an they was able to whip up a dozen white cupcakes with the cream cheese frosting in about 5 mins !little expensive but well worth it !
Stopped in with 2 of my little one night for cupcakes. Not only were the cupcakes super dry, they have the nerve to charge $4 per cupcakes with store bought icing. I bake from time to time and use the same icing that was used on the sprinkle cupcakes. My daughters ate the icing and that was it! For $4 per cupcake, you should at least make homemade butter cream.. JS
The cupcakes are delicious and the counter help is great. If you want yummy cupcakes definitely go to smallcakes. DO NOT APPLY for the Baker position. I found out the reason this position is always open is because the owners treat the staff like second class citizens. I quit because I was treated rather rudely when I came in to cover a call out. Im 44 years old and have never been treated like that in my life. Honestly I'll be surprised if this business lasts.
I really enjoy that I can get treats for my kids and a keto cupcake for myself. I have placed multiple custom orders and have not been disappointed. The owner is so nice. Great customer service.
