Food was good for what it was:No frills cold sub.I like my sub toasted. Not an option here. They asked if you wanted cheese. It was extra and no options.No options on bread type or chips either.Staff okay, not especially friendly to a first time visit. In fact they acted board. Not unkind just : What do you want? Give me the number ! Don't ask questions!No atmosphere. Sparse sit down area. Very cramped. No good place to wait for order unless you like standing in the hall for the toilet rooms. They do have outside west facing tables.I had a roast beef sandwich regular larger than Subway 6 inch. Other person had mini tuna. Hot dog bun size. Both had oatmeal cookie ( very good ) , drink and chips.I understand they built the business on quick delivery.Might give that a try but no place for quick but sit down lunch.
The Jimmy John's in kingwood was a very pleasant experience.the service was awesome, the prices very reasonable, the eating area was so clean.if the staff was not waiting on customers they were making sure everything was spotless and clean.if you are in the mood for a fabulous sandwich and chips,check out this Jimmy John's location.

They get a single start due to the kindness of the employees to the customers.My order was nowhere NEAR correct. I went there because the OTHER Jimmy John's in Spring is fast and always gets it right.My bread was wrong. The specifics I asked for were but in my sandwich. The sandwich did not come with tomatoes, but was loaded with them.
I ordered from here once threw DoorDash to receive a call just 5 minutes later informing there driver would take atleast 40+ minutes before they would make it back to the store. The store was also closing in 10 minutes, no big deal, so I was asked if I’d like to void the order and have my money refunded to me. I know what it’s like to work a minimal job, we were all young once. However, the next day I woke up to not only a charge for the food but a charge for a tip to deliver the food, that was never even made. I was told threw door dash it was too late for a refund. 25 bucks ain’t that big of a deal to me, but I don’t like having my money stolen from me. For that I’d rate this place 0 stars if I could
Freaky slow! I ordered online, showed up 20 MINUTES LATER, and they hadn’t even started yet. There were 3 customers in the store. Lesson: if you order for take out, they need 30 minutes to prepare (and that’s if the place is empty).
Had a great Italian sandwich. Don't remember what it was called but it was very tasty.
I usually love Jimmy John's but this location didn't exactly wow me. The staff was friendly-ish. They certainly weren't going out of their way to smile. They had none of the day old bread to buy which I was really bummed about, though I suppose that can't be helped. The bread on our sandwiches seemed almost stale, not like the bread I'm used to on JJ sandwiches. And the service was quick like usual but just not what I expect from JJ restaurants I've been to before. I won't come to this location again.
Maybe i'm biased because I've typically ordered from JJ's in Austin, DC, and Phoenix, but this by far is the slowest Jimmy John's i've ever been to. I've never stood over 10 minutes waiting for 2 simple sandwiches with literally no one else in front of me. It's a shame, does injustice to the JJ culture. Defeats the whole purpose, Not coming back.
