The place is really good and the ambience is pretty nice as well. The food is delicious as I ordered the sashimi, I also tasted the egg rolls, tempura crawfish, shrimp fried rice, and one of the rolls. Will definitely go here again when I’m in the mood for sue-shh!
Service was a bit slow tonight, they seemed overwhelmed. The octopus in the Takoyaki was a little fishy. The rest of the food was very good. The Ginger Maki was awesome. The tuna on both the Lobster Roll and the DC Roll was super fresh. Overall great evening.
We have been here a couple weekends in a row now and we have been impressed every single time. The quality of the sashimi is outstanding and you can tell the chefs care about their craft with the attention to detail that they use. Our server has been very attentive and very kind every time as well. They have made a weekly customer out of us because I think of the blue fin tuna throughout the week.
Walked in early dinner hour and it smelled very strong like acetone, I think waitress was doing her nails. They really need to wash glasses better.
My dad and his friend brought me here on our way to Livingston. They frequent this place on a weekly basis. I don't eat seafood though but the chef of the day, John, was gracious enough to create a veggie roll which was delicious and fresh. I esp liked the pickled veggie one! Also, got seaweed salad, spicy garlic edamame and vegetable tempura. I tried fresh wasabi for the first time! Highly recommend this place if in the area. Thank you!
Great place, food came out fast and service was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, I plan on coming back so I can through the menu! I meant to take before photos of the food but I was too excited.
My favorite place to get sushi, especially deep fried. Today I went to nukumi only to wait 30 minutes to receive the wrong order and be told I'd need to pay a huge upcharge to have it fried, even though I already paid $2 extra and it was $14 for half the portion of what ginger gives. I ended up getting a refund and leaving to go to ginger after being told I'd have to wait even longer. Ordered on the phone and only had to wait about 10 minutes to get my food. The customer service is amazing and from now on I'll rely on ginger to fill my sushi needs. They were just as busy as nukumi tonight too. Thanks for being the best ?
Really enjoyed the rolls here. They were outstanding. The house sake was also quite solid, one of the better ones I've had around Houston.Would absolutely go again.

The restaurant messed up our order and was condescending on the phone when I asked to refund the item that was incorrect. She laughed at me and said she doesn’t know how to explain to me… I understand mistakes happen but laughing at a customer that asks for something to be made right is just not the way to go and we won’t be dining here ever again. There are lots of sushi options in the area I would recommend just based off the customer service here I believe anywhere is better than this place.
