The food was awful. Brisket was dry. Mashpottaoes casserole tast like water. It was disgusting. Worst bar bq I had In A while very disappointed spend 17 $ dollars here for bad tasting food. Do not recommend.
Generally pick up and bring home but we decided to go and dine in to get out of the house. Well not a good choice. We were the only 2 inside when we got there. Tables needed cleaning before we could sit down. Manager was on the phone with a customer who was complaining about something. Said they don't keep receipts to see what was charged. 3 other people finally came in. The manager rang up an item incorrectly that wasn't ordered. Told the customers she had no way to refund the error. Found that odd. Wife ordered a sandwich and had to take it back for another one. Way to much fat. But the cleanliness factor was the big downside. If the front part was unclean, makes you wonder about everything else. Anyway probably out last visit to Dickys.
Never coming back to this location. Didn't listen while taking order, over charged me from what the menu said, did a poor job making my chopped beef sandwich. Sandwich had little meat in it and big chunks of fat. My impression of the food here is it is slop instead of BBQ.17 dollars for chopped beef sandwich small order of fries and drink is unexceptiable for this quality. I work hard for my money and feel ripped off for what I got. Overall poor experience this time.
Don’t go the food was not up to Dicky’s standard our chopped beef was not good it was fatty & cold they had no sides available I would never go back to the North park location.
They used to be a good place to eat brisket but I will never eat there again. Why? Let's just say I will never pay steak prices for cold old chewy brisket. It would not surprise me if they put one to two day old meat in the fridge, reheat it and put it in my order. Ever reheated and eaten a day old steak? It is chewy and tough. Also, big difference between chopped and cubed meat.Couldn't help but notice all the good reviews are 10 months to 4 years old. The recent ones are bad reviews.
In town for work and stopped by for a quick lunch. Pulled pork sandwich hit the spot! Staff was quick and friendly.
I would give no stars if I could. I ordered 2 bakers with chopped brisket and added a rib to each. Didn’t get the rib for either, one had no sour cream and they both were loaded with sour cream. They were so hard and old that you could barely fluff with a fork. The bag came with sauce spilt and ripped. The cole slaw was soured and spoiled. I order a medium Mac n cheese and was given an individual cup. I called the store and was told there was no manager or person in charge and I would have to call the following morning to speak to one. I asked if the food could be remade and sent and I would give this back, he said no as they were closing in 9 minutes. Didn’t apologize, didn’t say bye, didn’t have any empathy at all. Horrible customer service. You spend over 50.00 for stale and spoiled food and no one seems to care. My son is lactose intolerant so could not eat, my other son was given a small cup of Mac n cheese that I paid 8.00 for a medium sized. Over priced! Disgusting!
I had the new brisket chili as well as the westerner sandwich yesterday and was so happy with food as well as the costumer service ! Great food and great service !
Food was great and the staff very friendly. Brisket was very tender and mac and cheese always good at this location.
Order for delivery, should be here between 5:07-5:17, GREAT! 5:20, call to check where it is, running late, should have received an email, nope, oh, we meant text! Nope. Running 15 minutes late. Giving you 25%discount. 40 minutes later, now they don’t answer the phone. It is ready at the restaurant, has been for 5-10 minutes. So now the restaurant is telling me they took an hour to make the food that is barbecue… okay, I want to cancel my order. Nope can’t do that! I can come in tomorrow to cancel it, or I can come pick it up. Oh, the delivery service is here to pick it up now! That food is going to be cold. It is an hour late.I got the food. Yes, it’s cold. No the order is wrong. Fries instead of onion tanglers, not a drop of bbq sauce, no soda, baked potato is not only cold, but missing green onions and bacon and sauce. And my smoked house salad came as I believe a Caesar or side salad maybe…. Romaine lettuce with dressing.And to be clear, the receipt says that excepted pickup is at 4:53, and at 6 I was told that it was just freshly made.I will never order delivery through this again. An order that I paid over $70 for was completely messed up on all parts.I can’t honestly judge the food that was maybe “30” minutes old, because it was obvious that it had been sitting there for more then an hour. So I might do pickup, NEVER delivered again! Calling tomorrow when management is there from 11-3(4?). And , no I would not like it remade for me!And I have a part 2! It got WORSE!!!I had to talk to the gm, well, he wouldn’t let me talk, kept trying to say I should have brought the bad food back or refused delivery. It was contactless delivery! And I unpacked the food, found it cold and wrong and immediately called. I was told they could not do refunds and to call the next day. The next day I was told it was not their fault but they could not do a refund and to call the next day. That would be today. The gm yelled at me, I yelled back. He would not let me tell him what happened. He just kept saying I should have refused the order, I had tried to cancel already, or I should have taken my sick self up and driven the ‘food’ back.There are a number of posts about what great customer service someone has had, that was by no means my experience. Will I ever eat at Dickie’s again? After dealing with that gm, I see no reason to give them another try. They didn’t give me my order and then say too bad so sad. I wish them joy in all that life and karma will give to them.
