Great people miss the old owners but still one of my favorite bqq places been coming here for years
I stopped here for the first when I was in town. I have eaten at other dickeys and liked it so i thought I'd try this one. I ordered the two meat plate with chicken and sausage. Both were very good. The chicken was juicy and tasty and the sausage had a ton of flavor. I'll remember this place for when I'm in town.
Ok guys, usually this place rocks. I go here all of the time. Now with that being said, the last two times I’ve been to this location in Kingwood I have ordered the Asiago Spinach and the Baked Potato Casserole. On both visits the spinach and the potato casserole were like SOUP. It was disgusting. Not creamy or even close. Like watery soup. On both occasions the sides were like this. They need to teach someone how to make the sides. I’m sure I’m not the first to notice.
Loses your catering orders, rude to customers, and staff says you waste your money there. We were going to the restaurant every couple of weeks and loved it. Did not have a problem until this Major Incident. I ordered a smoked turkey and a ham at the beginning of November during their holiday special meal for a Christmas Dinner for my family. The ordering went off without a hitch and the staff was very helpful. I went in about a week before Christmas Eve to pick up dinner and confirm my order and ask if I could come a little earlier because of timing. I was told by the amazing employees that it would be ready around noon on Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve, I head to Dickey’s around noon to pick up the order I placed back in November. The employees working were not the usual ones I talked to. I said I was here for a pick up order of a turkey and ham. The employee named Diamond said that I had not ordered it there. I assured her I did and if she just would check the catering binder but she refused. She then told me that I wasted my money and how could I have ordered something that they don’t sell. She was extremely rude to me and would not check the binder. I asked to talk to a manager and Diamond declared she was. I told her that I then needed to talk to some else while also still asking her to check the catering binder which she continued to refuse to do. Luckily the General Manager was about to leave and she came in. She then went and looked in the binder and found my order but they couldn’t fill it. She could offer me two turkeys instead. I asked her why I not informed about this earlier than that day. I did not need two turkeys and would like my order as it was placed over a month ago. She then went into the back and left me alone with Diamond as she went to “work things out” Diamond continued to be rude to me. The GM found a turkey at another store and said I could come back later to complete my order. I then asked if I could file a complaint against Diamond and how she treated me. Diamond then began to yell at me in front of her GM. I left the location and by the time I got to my car I was crying with frustration. I made a complaint to customer service and asked if the owner would contact me over this situation. When I came back for my order, I brought my husband who was not pleased with any of this situation. Diamond was still working there and again was the person who I had to interact with. We picked up our order as quickly as possible because this place has now become an unfriendly place. I guess to try and apologize without apologizing they threw in the extra fried turkey, but is was pretty rancid in smell and taste. Diamond did apologize but it was rushed and not genuine. We did get our order and the food we ordered was good. I have waited since Christmas Eve for the owner to reach out as I left my name and number with Corporate Customer Service, but I have not heard anything from them. At no point should an employee cause a customer to cry and say they wasted their money. At no point was there an apology for losing my order or the behavior of the employees.
Our first time at this location and it was a great experience!The overall atmosphere is quite and welcomingVery clean and the staff member named Diamond was very friendly and inviting.We will definitely be coming back.
Dickey's in Kingwood is the best, love the staff there. Everyone is always friendly and care enough to check to see if you need anything added to order or how you like your item.
Love the beef brisket and pork ribs. For sides I like the potato salad and Mac & cheese.

Brisket sandwich- dry, tough, sawdust brisket with a sauce that couldn't save it. Was very disappointed. Will stay away.
I ordered a baked potato with chopped brisket. It arrived cold, was over cooked and the brisket was mostly fat. It was not edible. Will not order from them again.
