On the way home we decided to stop by & place our order to go. Ordered 1 classic & 2 way burgers (asked for tomato on the way burgers & was told they came with it), 3 ofries, 1 Lg drink & an order of macaroni bites which was $37.00(I thought this was rather high). After waiting 35-40 minutes we got our food except we were 1 way burger & ofries short. Then they told us they didn't ring us up for the way burger & ofries so we're waiting another 30 minutes and $14.00. Got home & surprise the ofries turned out to just be fries and there was no Tomatoe on the way burgers. The food was good but not $51 good for what we got. We won't be returning to Wayback burgers
Food wasn’t good at all.I don’t know if I’m getting to picky with age or if these fast food places just don’t care about their food they are serving!?!
I went to the Wayback Burgers store in the Walmart Supercenter in Killeen, TX. I placed a simple order in the app, one of their "Cheeeesy Burgers", and that's all. At first, they gave me the wrong order with someone else's name. I didn't notice that until I got all the way home, but I understand that mistakes happen, so I drove all the way back to ask for the correct order. The gentleman at the register asked what my name was and swapped the bag I had with one with my name on it, without giving an apology for the error or anything. This bag had my name on it, but again, it only contained some Macaroni and Cheese Bites, which I did not order. Again, I hadn't noticed until I had gotten home, so I called the store directly to ask for a refund and got no response. I then filed a complaint to the corporate website, giving clear photos of my receipt and the food I actually received. It has been more than a month and I have heard nothing back from the corporate office, and I had to get lunch somewhere else that day.
I recently moved to Killeen and my son and I decided to try Wayback since we were already in Walmart. We ordered the buffalo tenders with French fries, hotdog and a lemonade. It was a horrible experience and I don't think I'll be back for the following reasons:1. The food in general looked and tasted pre-made. (Zero freshness)2. The server gave us our lemonade out of a jug (I have no problem) but he then left the jug on the counter and went for his own personal cup, poured himself some and drinked while making food.3. While placing fries in the bag for takeaway, the said server proceeded to eat from the batch of fries.4. The lemonade was tasteless (needs a bit of work)Overall I am extremely disappointed and disgusted. Would not recommend at all. Thank you.
Ordered off DoorDash to get two “Phillycheese Steaks” one with meat and cheese and one with meat , cheese, grilled onions, mushrooms mayo and jalapeños. I go to pick up the order, drive all the way back to my house just to find out one of the sandwiches is completely wrong! The plain one was okay but the one that was suppose to be set up with all the veggies was not! It literally only had jalapeños , meat and cheese. So I called up there to speak with a manager and let them know I’m coming back. Once I get there they’re acting all confused just like high school kids would be. First of all they had a ATTITUDE that I came back in there, second when they examined the sandwich they put their little nasty fingers all in my sandwich just to confirm it was wrong how they made it. Then they had the AUDACITY TO WRAP IT BACK UP AND PLACE THE MISSING VEGGIES THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE COOKED WITH THE SANDWICH ON THE SIDE. DIDN’T EVEN OFFER TO REMAKE IT! I HAD TO ASK THEM AND THEY ALL HAD A ATTITUDE ABOUT IT, TOOK THEIR SWEET TIME AND DID OTHER PEOPLES ORDERS! I DIDN'T EVEN GET AN APOLOGY. But I guess you don’t get a “sorry” from a sorry “food” place, brings to much truth to the tongue.Worst experience ever since they decided to hire kids who don’t fully understand the job they signed up for. I’d give this place 0 stars if I could.
Went with my daughter she got chicken club I got Philly cheese both of our meats were over cook an my Philly was soo greasy its was dripping off onto the paper just not good and no flavor my daughter and I needed ice for the tea no ice no soda just not good this was my first and last time

Eat my burger half way and got the wax paper that separates the burger patties in Mt mouth. Called store and they informed me to go online and submit for refund.
The food is good but imagine placing an order online and you want it delivered. Then you wait about an hour for when the food should be on the way. Then you get a text for when the food should be at your door saying the restaurant canceled the order because "they didn't have enough food to make the order" and you'll have to wait 3 days after you spent quite a bit of money to get refunded.... This was a waste of time. Placing an order at the restaurant takes long enough already but placing it online just means you'll be waiting a longer time with the possibilty of never receiving it at all. Oh and you are told at the last minute that they can't make the food!!!!
Pricy menu but you get a good amount of food. The fries are extremely mediocre, but the chili fries are the bomb. Kids menu is basic, but you can add condiments. I added lettuce and tomato (I ordered pick up) yet the burger only had meat cheese and ketchup. So there’s the “not seeing the order correctly and screwing my kid over on his food” that typically happens at places. Forgetting his milk. (Well my husband picked it up I placed the order so he should of seen that but they should of given it to him) definitely will not make this our place to go. Five guys or fuddruckers is better. However the menu has many options which is nice for variety. And like I said the chili fries were pretty good.
