Am going to San Juan in a few weeks so i had authentic Puerto Rican food on my mind and decided to try this place in Killeen. Very impressive. Friendlly service, nice music playing, and good food. I had Shrimp mofongo in garlic sauce. Also ordered a shrimp salad with coconut water. Let's just say I was stuffed and couldn't eat it all. The setup is a little confusing whereas you can order stuff that is already prepared like on a buffet or you can order stuff that they will have to prepare in the kitchen. If you're unsure about what to order or how to order, there will be someone friendly and happy to help you and explain everything to you. It felt like a nice mom-and-pop's business.
Excellent cuisine!! Authentic food from traditional recipes with origins in Puerto Rico. Exquisite taste that is a must have when visiting the area. Is a family operated business with lots of great friendly staff ready to serve their amazing meals. They also have every puertorican meal that ever existed available in their repertoire for catering.

I decided to stop by after paying rent. Realizing that we will off the next day. I decided to try it out cause I never had it before. I was assisted by the nice guy behind the counter because, I didn't know what to get. I first plate "no pics" was fried rice, Port Rican biscuit and beef. It was lite on my stomach and very delicious, very delicious. Even if you don't have a clue of what to get they will help you with smiles. I will be going back there. Strawberry cake, fried chicken, fries and fried rice but with port Rican flavor. Yummmmmmmmy. 5 plus stars!

For authentic Puertorican food close to Fort Hood look no further. During my visit, they had a wide variety of the staple dishes of Puerto Rico and it tasted authentic with staff that knows ow to speak Spanish and the know there heritage. Thanks again for helping me feal at home.

After participating in a cancer walk..we (a group of 10 people) took them by surprised when they opened. I was the only PRican with others unfamiliar to Boricua food. The staff was so patient with us, helpful, with a smile at all times .. they took time to answer questions .. even to give taste samples.. I do have one critique..maybe it's because of COVID..but there was no menu.. that made it a bit hectic since, as I mentioned, the mayority never had this type of food plus it was our first time there.. Over all great experience..very tasty.. it's an hour way but I will definitely visit again. ??
The food served up here by owner/manager/chef, Edwin is exactly like momma would make if momma was Tito Puente or Willie Bobo. This is the real deal. No apologies for anything that tastes like nothing you've had before. It's just, quite simply put, the real deal from Puerto Rico. Everything is nice. The place brings me back home. Its clean. Service it's great. The food is good and fresh. Coño!!! Iwill go back over and over.
