I really hate leaving negative reviews, but this was pretty ridiculous. Ate inside for the first time in months, waited at the counter for about 10 minutes before being noticed (this is after I attempted to get kitchen staff attention as no one was on register). She finally comes out of the bathroom, only to go directly to the kitchen. I would've left then but my wife asked that we stay. I humor her, only to recieve the crunchiest "popcorn shrimp" I've ever experienced. Oh, & a very audible scoff every few moments she was forced to deal with customers that came in (not just us). Forgot half of the meal, & ice machine was down. I get that everyone has their bad days, but wow. After we ate, I felt obligated to wipe down the table, because looking around I wasn't sure they ever got cleaned off. I will not be going here again. As an ex-janitor, maybe my standards were a little too high for a fast food place, but when I say it was gross, I hope no other customers are able to attest. This was so bad that I felt disgusting the whole time I was eating. I hope these reviews get around, though.
My whole order was wrong and they didn't include the sweet heat dips that I ordered which is needed for the spicy chicken. Tried to call to let them know I had to place another order through GrubHub to get them to go get my missing items and no one answers! Tried several times 9:30pm April 16th. Won't be eating there ever again. Too bad that bad employees cause this for a business. But thank you grub hub for a full refund.
Very nasty and rude employees. Does not feel like a safe enviornment to be in, not welcoming at all and threatening atmosphere. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Nobody, stay away from this establishment. Tonight I walked in to pick up food and was told by the lady to "get the hell out." and to use the drive thru. Im not sure who she thinks she was talking too but I certainly will not tolerate it nor should anyone.Time and time again, I've given this place multiple chances and they fail. I'm not sure how they remain in business.
Half my order was missing and the chicken sandwich was like eating jerky. They taste like last weeks leftovers. ?
THIS IS THEE WORST PLACE TO GET FOOD IN KILLEEN. FIRST OF ALL THE FIRST TIME I ORDERED DOOR DASH, AFTER WAITING 45 MINUTES, MY DASHER CALLED AND SAID THEY TOLD HIM THEY NEVER RECEIVED MY ORDER. THE SECOND TIME I ORDERED FROM THE APP. AND WHEN I GOT THERE TO PICK UP MY ORDER, THEY HADN'T EVEN STARTED MAKING MY ORDER. I STOOD THERE FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES WAITING FOR THEM TO PUT MY ORDER TOGETHER. I ORDER A GALLON OF LEMONADE AND A LARGE MACARONI AND IT LITERALLY TOOK 10 MINUTES JUST WAITING FOR THEM TO HAND ME A BAG OF LEMONADE. I ORDERED DOORDASH FROM THEM TONIGHT TRYING TO GIVE THEM A CHANCE AND IT'S WORST THEN BEFORE. THEY TOOK WHATEVER THEY HAD LEFT IN THE STORE IN THREW IT IN MY BAG. I ORDERED 5 CHICKEN SANDWICHES AND DID NOT GET ONE. WHAT I GOT WAS SOME LITTLE CHICKEN CRUMBLES. I ORDERED MAC AND CHEESE, THEY GAVE ME COLE SLAW...I DON'T EVEN EAT COLE SLAW. THEY TOLD THE DASHER TO TELL ME TO GET A REFUND FOR WHATEVER I DIDN'T GET. I'AM SOO OVER THIS PLACE. THERE'S ONLY YOUNG PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE, NO ONE OVER 25. THEY NEED NEW MANAGEMENT!!!!
I have to give one star to leave a review or I would leave none. The ENTIRE crew was EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. It came across very clearly that they where BOTHERED by customers coming in and did not want to be working there. I was told a 5 minute wait and waited 50 minutes for my order. When I inquired about the wait the employee LAUGHED sarcastically and stated "psh takes longer then that." I will not ever return to this popeyes. I have given many, many passes on their awful customer service and attitudes in the past but this was to much. It has just gotten worse and worse.
It is so appalling to me just how awful this Popeyes is. I’ve worked fast food for years so I know how it is. Their lobby is literally empty, and it still takes 30 minutes to get 2 cars through the drive thru. Not only to top off the wait, the lady at the window forgets my drink but wait there’s more, I’ve been here a lot so I learned my lesson, I park to check my bag to see if they gave me everything I paid for and of course they didn’t, I have to go back inside and get the other stuff they forgot. This happens literally every time here. You can say oh just go to a different Popeyes. Why should I? Management needs to take responsibility and fire every incompetent employee there.
In Killeen, Texas, food is great; we need more locations drive-through lines that are constantly long 7-8 cars, which cause extremely long wait time. Staff working hard and staying positive.
RUDE, slow, dirty and in disrepair. I said thank you the cashier said “mm”. They set my food down on the ledge of the window and said are you going to grab this? You can clearly see from the window that it’s dirty, employees are horsing around while there’s a 10 plus car line. Speaker, card reader, or something is almost always broken. Food is hit and miss. And thisIs not just one visit this the usual treatment at this location.
It's a pretty nice Popeyes! I haven't been inside since the Pandemic. I utilize the drive-thru. Food is great, I never have to complain about anything. The reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because, the speaker box was inoperative this last visit.
