I came in with my boys for lunch and ordered the choose 2 with a McAllister’s club wrap and a garden salad. The wrap was really hard, so I nicely asked them if I could get a half of a club instead. After waiting 15+ minutes. This is what I got.. and it looks horrible. I am so disgusted with the customer service and how these ladies treated me. Won’t be going back. And this use to be my favorite place.
Don’t see the point of ordering curbside when you wait outside for 10 minutes, call and then get told to come inside just to wait for 15 more minutes inside and to still not get my name called because they “couldn’t pronounce” it for one and for 2 they were looking for me outside despite being told to come inside. Don’t order a baked potato if you expect sour cream not one single sour cream but oh great they did give me 8 packs of butter. No one needs that much butter for a single potato. And on top of that I didn’t get my pickle spear and neither of my kids got their cookie with their kids meal. Safe to say I’m going to Jason’s Deli next time this was my last time coming here.
Pickup service was slow ....waited 30 minutes for order. Asked about it several times but the workers didn't seem that concern about my wait. .....UPDATE !! from previous post. I wasn't impressed with the food. Ordered a grill chicken salad in which the meat looked like processed sandwich meat with grill marks instead of cut chunks of meat. My actual sandwich didn't look very appealing nor did it taste that good. I will say the ice tea and chocolate cake was pretty good, but other than that not a fan. Last post was 3 stars taking it down to 2.?
Their sandwiches are always on point and the iced tea with refills a bonus. Great personalized service and catering is always a great option for events.
I was excited to try the curbside pickup feature, but was ultimately disappointed. It's now ten minutes past the time suggested curbside pickup time and I've had to make a phone call to the restaurant to find out where my food is.This is an issue because the food will already been sitting there for ten minutes and by the time I eat it, it's already cold.As a final note, the sandwich is less than half full of ingredients as you can see from the picture.
Visited this place my first night back in Texas after being stationed elsewhere. Ordered online and was told food would be ready at 810. It's now 830 and still no food. Other customers have been waiting even longer for to-go orders. Hot garbage, I'll drive my butt somewhere else next time or order 2hrs ahead of the time I would like to eat.Notice the pickup time and the time the ticket was printed up top on the photo I shared
Didn’t realize I left a review a year ago (which was one star and I’m guessing I remember why) UPDATE FROM 4/7/2022 below!!!Set my curbside order for 8:55 and got there at 8:34. Went inside at 8:52 to see what was taking so long. There was someone in front of me whose order was completely wrong. Was told my order would be out within 5 mins and it’s 9:03 I’m still waiting. People were sitting in the dining area apparently one of the items was wrong and the girl who brought the order out rolled her eyes when coming back to the back after bringing out the corrected order. I work in customer service and the service here is completely unprofessional. Someone else came in for a pick up order and one of the girls in the back had to chase him down to give him something he was missing. The girls are ALL on their phones which is probably why nothing is correct. Another girl went to the restroom came out with her phone in her bra and took it out in front of everyone which is completely unsanitary. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry in the past and this is nothing compared to what I’ve dealt with. Didn’t walk out of this place until 9:27 checking my boxes when I got to my car and the sandwich bread was burnt ON BOTH SANDWICHES! I wish I checked my soup prior to getting home too because it was only half a cup. Which is not what I paid for.
Well my husband and I decided to go to McAlister's Deli in Killeen this afternoon and that was a big mistake. HUGE. I get it that a lot of businesses are hurting for staff, but this was unreal. I have never ever seen an eating establishment in the condition that this place was in. Sooo many dirty tables. And to prove that I'm not exaggerating, I took one pic of each dirty table (and I took a total of 19 pics). Like I said, I'm assuming they're short on staff but the place was not busy. Needless to say, we won't be going back ever again. SMH
Customer service doesn't exist here. Ordered food for curbside still waiting 1 HOUR after it was due. After calling the restaurant and asking when my order would be ready. I was told they're backed up and it would be out soon. There is literally nobody in the restaurant. 2 GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH AND A SUB TAKE A HOUR TO MAKE? ID DRIVE OFF BUT ALREADY PAID THROUGH THE APP.SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE.DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION.Asked to speak to a manager, but the new girl that brought out the food. She didn't know who the supervisor was but would send someone out. We then watched her walk in circles, until we just drove off in frustration.SCREW THIS PLACE
Always amazing food that will fill you up. Extra large portions that always make for incredible leftovers if you like taking leftovers for lunch like me. Reasonable prices. I'd prefer their menu over fast food menus any day and it always explodes with flavor in every bite. I ordered the french dip, I was kinda sad to see the little amount of aju sauce in relation to the giant sandwich in front of me. If I had one suggestion on what to change thatd be it. Just add more aju sauce to the order. Anyway great relaxing atmosphere, friendly customer service. Keep up the amazing work . Oh wait I forgot to mention the baked potatoes! OMG...literally the biggest baked potato I've ever seen the whole thing could be a meal in itself. I got the cajun chicken bacon one, I'm not sad about the leftovers because I'm gonna eat amazing for lunch tomorrow. Half of it was the size of a regular baked potato! Definitely would recommend time and time again.
