This place is amazing! from perfect customer service to great food. Everything was outstanding and pleasant. The food is 100% authentic and if you're from Detroit you will not be disappointed at all. Mama Mak has a great spirit just so sweet and friendly. The customer service from everyone stood out so much I wanted to leave a review before I ate lol. The food was amazing I got a corn beef sandwich with chili cheese fries and my husband got the wingdings, we ate all of it before we left the parking lot. We will be returning!
If you from Detroit, it’s gone take you right back home! The Ingredients from MI too. Definitely slaps! The food is amazing, but they also have alcohol, karaoke, and a lot of dine in space!
Aye yo!!! This place is bomb. I’ve been into this place and I’ve ordered online. They had my food ready right on time when I got there to pick it up and I didn’t wait long when I ordered in house. The food is excellent. I just recently tired an Open Faced Cheesesteak Sandwich and it was heaven in my mouth for real. Y’all need to go try this place and give it all the business they deserve. I sure will.
Read the article in KDH about this hidden gem ? Being from Detroit (the right) Coney Island is THE comfort food spot and this the right one. When you move with purpose and intent it shows and Ms. Mak you are doing the damn thing! Everything made to order and worth the wait.
Have been in a couple of times and ordered cheeseburgers once and hotdogs once. Both times the food was fresh and seasoned well. Definitely made to order. The serving sizes are enormous, so bring your appetite. All of the employees at the Cafe are truly welcoming and friendly. It’s such a pleasant and warm atmosphere, I definitely will be back. Great food and Great atmosphere!!
Nice and homey feel. A real hole in the wall spot. Great food and vibes, portions can satisfy any hungry man. The owner makes an effort to communicate and make customers feel comfortable. Coney Special, Grilled Chicken Pita, and the Philly are amazing.
Authentic from Detroit. It was like eating at the Coneys back home. Great service with a smile...karaoke and down home feel. Highly recommend!!
Just sat down and took two bites of my grilled chicken salad, it's out of this world. Great job to the chef and thanks to Mak the owners recipe. Plentiful serving. Love this home cooked food. I'll be back....
